Pakistan Missiles - Updates, News & Discussion

The Pakistani Army announced the successful test launch of a hypersonic ballistic missile of the "Fateh-2" model in its long-range version, equipped with advanced navigation systems and modern flight technologies

This one is nice.Fast and precise.Would be interesting to see the design.
F2 was 400km ranged - even 100km range extension with this fast response and a two missiled salvo reaction - would be difficult for any defence system to handle.

I hope they have worked to improve the accuracy of guidance system.

NOTAM was around 900-1000km. I think you yourself posted that and secondly missile looks completely redesigned
The contrail in this launch seems to be thinner and longer than the ones in other tests. Does that indicate some specific improvements?

I think this kind of YJ21 or Iranian Fattah type system, skip glide using powered RV.
If this was usual stuff government of Pakistan would not have announced it apart from ISPR.

Looks like the GHQ is very happy with Fateh mee jaeel performance during May 2025 Pakistan India war .
They constantly developing it since then

As we know there are two possible ways to increase the range of a rocket

1- Either change the fuel to more efficient fuel type which can sustain burn rate to a longer duration or

2- Change the rocket motor to the more powerful one.

Related to the F-2 ER test we can't say which route they have adopted but test video was showing the length of fir exiting from rocket motor was notably longer then previous videos which might be the indication of some tweak or change to the rocket motor.

In the end it's all guesswork nothing else.
