So was the test a success or failure? I guess a failure as it wasn’t announced what was tested. If not, please correct me.

Been there since the second iteration - all was dependent on the engine. It is the tomahawk after all and that thing goes 1500km+

Considering the atmosphere it is a schrodingers cat .

Unless we can look - it is neither failure or success because announcement or non announcement of either/or has benefits.

If its a very advanced capability that needed testing but not public declaration - it could be a success and not announced but keeps the opposition thinking.

Or it could be a failure and it still keeps the opposition thinking.

These tests had been happening throughout April so we probably had one scheduled already and just coincided with the tensions increasing. And the results weren't announced for the previous ones as well so it doesn't have anything to do with the results of the test or not

Combined with the NOTAM on radar decoy deployment, I think this NOTAM from yesterday points to an operational test of an existing anti-ship missile likely for validating combat readiness.

When smash came out many thought, Smash was P282 and we would gradually increase range over the next few years, decades etc

But everyone is still confused, others are saying The P282 project is completely different and preparations are being made for it

When smash came out many thought, Smash was P282 and we would gradually increase range over the next few years, decades etc

But everyone is still confused, others are saying The P282 project is completely different and preparations are being made for it

Imagine if Pakistan utilises this P282 missile during skirmishes with India as a surprise element.
