Pakistan Missiles - Updates, News & Discussion

If we have the need to respond to israel aggression. what options we have? Beside Shaheen 3, we have no other missile that can reach israel? Number of shaheen 3 will also be under 100 which is not enough? also shaheen 3 has a known ballistic projectile path that can be easily intercepted at terminal stage? We really need missiles which will be difficult to intercept and must reach israel and that too in large number. we need to start now. also for india we need to make missiles that cannot be easily intercepted. we must also look for cheap solution for that we need the complete 100% production to be in pakistan and that too should produce fast? Guys we need to discuss this

Of all these ballistic missiles, which are solid fueled and which are liquid fueled?

Ghauri is liquid feuled, the Shaheen series and Ababeel are solid feuled. Ghauri is old and most likely retired. Solid feul is the preferred option because of faster launching times within minutes.

so whats our standings in missile systems are we at par with iran or above ... how is it.. if we compare with iran

Ghauri series will most likely be used as fodder for A.D whilst Shaheen and other missiles are supposed to break through

More recently Pakistan has viewed the Fatah series as the tool to strike our enemies

But production has only been ongoing for the last few years so numbers are likely limited

That's why Fatah 1 was our missile of choice in the recent conflict

Fatah 2 (400km) and Fatah 4 (750km) will be inducted in numbers also

The CEP has been bought down to 10-15m and will be reduced further

Fatah 3 (450km) is interesting because they called it the Abdali and mostly has a nuclear role

I think this is one of the series they will concentrate on to give us a 1000-1500 area of operation with mobile, survivable, conventional and nuclear attack options

And I'm sure they are working on follow on options to the Shaheen series

Same with smash, I'm sure they will work on longer range versions

The x factor always being, how can China help or what we can get with tot, as the Df17 would be a incredible ballistic anti ship missile

As per my best info Fatah series totally different from Abdali or whatever it being called since Fatah series will not carry any nuclear weapons " declared". Why? because we will use it in conventional role so the enemy should now that we are not launching nuclear missile but conventional warhead.

Further Fatah series are very high speed rockets with almost pin point accuracy some suggest it derived from Turkish system of same class.

What's the production rate for the F1?

We know Pakistan needs Hyper sonic missiles. but here debate is useless as we will never know missile qualities and what we have as its a secret.

I agree

But they specifically called fatah 3 as Abdali, when they could just call it Fatah 3

So I assume it's based on the Fath series of missile with the same mobility and fast speed but nuclear capable

We now really need to see hypersonic options

@maverick mentioned in another thread that Pakistan is working on a hypersonic option that should be revealed soon

We are already working on hypersonic CM it should be near completion, and historically we only publicly test these type of systems when we have to show some deterrence.
Yes before that whether ours are better then Indians or Iranians ? we can never know.

How fast are fattah ?

Plus,

I had misconception that if missile has speed of mach 18 or 15 which I believe is of shaheen missile is. It has in its all ballistic path. Now I came to know that at terminal stage speed due to factors of earth atmosphere is different to mid course and initial phase.

So, when you mentioned someone said working on hypersonic options does it mean that missile or vehicles in terminal stage have hypersonic speed ?
