No one in Pakistan is against the Pakistan–Saudi Arabia Defence Pact, except perhaps those who are easily influenced by IRGC propaganda.

Many Muslims in Pakistan feel blessed that our country has been entrusted with helping defend Islam's two Holiest Cities and Holiest Masajid. In my opinion, that responsibility is one of the greatest honours Pakistan could receive.

Personally, I regard it as one of the greatest blessings I have witnessed as a Pakistani in my lifetime.

Some tangential interpretation but…

To echo a Saudi General many years ago (written by a PAF veteran in his book) - when a Pakistani General gave a massive lecture titled defence of Makkah and plans -
The Saudi General got up and thanked him and told him no need to worry that much about it - whose house Makkah is more than capable of defending it if he wished and letting it be destroyed if he so wishes.
Makkah is not the property of muslims - muslims maintain it but they do so until Allah wills it.

Makkah has been laid siege to with blood split and it has been laid siege to and elephants ruined with stones.

It has been flooded and nearly destroyed and also survived disasters.

Even if it is nuked (as a hypothetical example - Allah controls all) muslims will still pray in its direction because its not an idol - that status of it as a common direction was decreed hundreds of years later after it was built.

Madinah - is the actual responsibility because it was built by our prophet and his property is our property.

Riyadh - irrelevant
Tehran - Irrelevant
Islamabad - irrelevant
Any mausoleums of any politico-religious leaders - irrelevant.

Newly appointed Saudi ambassador to Pakistan, Rajeh bin Tami Al-Baqami

Saudi Arabia on Wednesday appointed Dr Rajeh bin Tami Al-Baqami as its new ambassador to Pakistan, replacing Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, Arab News reported, as the two longstanding allies deepen cooperation in defence, investment and regional security.

A retired major general, Al-Baqami, later joined the Saudi Foreign Ministry with the rank of ambassador. He holds a doctorate in Human Resource Management from Brunel University London.

His appointment comes amid growing strategic alignment between Islamabad and Riyadh. Less than a year ago, the two countries signed a Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement under which aggression against one would be considered an attack on both, formalising decades of military cooperation.

Saudi Arabia has also expanded economic engagement with Pakistan, pledging billions of dollars in investment under Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s Vision 2030 initiative, while continuing to provide financial support to help stabilise Pakistan’s economy during recurring balance-of-payments challenges.

It seems like KSA patience is running low, i disagree with their policies but they have kept themselves out of this war and avoid attacking Iran directly but this may change soon and this will put Pakistan into a difficult position.

Their patience with Pakistan is running low too.
They are going to go back to an international coalition to provide enforcement against Houthis which potentially could even involve India as well while you’re still balancing with Iran because you fear that even if 5% of the 30% of the population that takes Persia as some holy land revolts you are essentially done as a nation. Its Syria at that point.

They are going to go back to an international coalition to provide enforcement against Houthis which potentially could even involve India as well while you’re still balancing with Iran because you fear that even if 5% of the 30% of the population that takes Persia as some holy land revolts you are essentially done as a nation. Its Syria at that point.

Unfortunately when it comes to Pakistan there is never a good/easy options to pick, its always a choice between bad and worse options. You are right and if i was KSA with a PACT with Pakistan i will be annoyed too, but at the same time we have people who burn entire cities down over some random movie made in USA by some idiot looking for some easy/quick fame, so imagine what our Jahil awam will do if we take a stand against what can be percived as against Iran/Shia which you pointed out many Pakistani's take as some holy land.

We already have KPK on fire, Baluchistan on fire and now AJK cooking on low heat, and all i hear is bad govt/ bad America/ Sazish yahoodi , Thanos but literally ZERO self accountability from Pakistani's, these military officers who meddle in Politics are born out of our society, these corrupt politicians are from within our societies, from a real estate giant to a gareeb fruit wala, Sab ke sab chor and haram khor hai, the difference is only the amount of chori. In civilized world violence is kept as a last resort by people who are protesting a legtimate issue be it election fraud or protesting fighting Houthies/Iran or XYZ, but in Pakistan we start from level 10 violence by burning half a city down, shops of Gareeb who is trying to make a halal income and some random people Car's and when State start to use force, we start crying Genocide Genocide... So yeah we have no good option but I hope that if Houthies doesn't back down, this time around I think(hope) Pakistan honor its pact and help KSA/Coaliation with this Houthi problem.

You're highlighting the issue already - you are basically a dude with $1 million combined credit card, mortgage, medical and auto debt living in house with stuff falling off but everything gets repainted and you have fancy german cars on loan while living with rats and cancer. You borrow left right from banks and friends while your only claim to fame is owning guns and you work out while pumping steriods to get quick gains and douse painkillers.

In this case, your "friends" then know you're screwed in the long run but they still keep you up for some old times sake and because they have their own issues so they'll hire you on IoUs for security but make other plans as well.

If this was an actual dude in real life - where do you think this is going?
