It is for this very reason, that Pakistan cannot manage its economic affairs, that makes Pakistan a poor security partner it is always vulnerable to needing loans and aid to "just keep the lights on". As the UAE case proved, Pakistan's chain can be yanked easily due to poor economic policies and mismanagement.

Agree - Saudi's have been there economically, but that same problem makes Pakistan a poor security provider. How much military power can Pakistan "devote" to the alliance? At most 1 or 2 JF17 squadrons and soldiers in the low tens of thousands.

Agreed, these arrangments will simply not work unless there is a MASSIVE level of investment in new kit, training and infra. Pakistan cannot afford that

Actually more important aspect is just the "Show of force". That a country with a large army, nuclear weapons and missiles has a joint defense pact with another country. That is more of a "Deterrent signaling".

Many times this deterrence signaling is enough for strategic objectives and security even if there are not enough number of forces present.

Also Iran was very careful and some what reluctant to hit KSA as it hit the others. One of the contributing reason is this pact in place.

While you are fully right, one of the many reasons while Iran has refrained from targeting KSA much (was the case from the very beginning) is due to KSA being a completely different animal altogether and KSA easily being able to target Iran in a equal or larger measure. As we recently saw (massive attacks on PMF terrorist cults in Iraq), KSA is not afraid from targeting IRGC operatives directly in Iraq, Yemen and elsewhere. It is a losing game in other words. I can only see them doing it in case of an all-out war where they have nothing to lose and they know their impending doom (regime).

Otherwise they are deeply untrustworthy and double-faced. Talking about peace and cooperation with their mouths while arming their backward terrorist cults and proxy groups wit the intention of targeting/weakening KSA.
