By looking at the events of past two years in the SE and ME Asia regions, it seems that a well thought out plan was executed to bring practically the whole Islamic world under the control of two expansionist state of Israel and India.
For analogy, these two states can be considered together as a snake with two heads. One head (i.e. Israel) acts as an enemy of some Arab states and Iran while posing as a friendly state for (or wooing to) some other Arab states. The other head (i.e. India), acts even more mischievously and with success, posing as a 'natural' ally towards Iran and almost all Arab states while acting as a bloody enemy against Muslims (i.e. Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, etc.) What the Muslim states miserably failed to understand that feeding either head (e.g. with billions of investment and other favorable gestures), in fact, effectively amounts to making the monster snake even stronger against them all if seen as a whole. Both states have a deep strategic alliance, only a part of it being visible to the world, while the most dreaded details kept under thick wraps The deep rooted nexus between the Indian RAW and Israeli Mossad got exposed during Israeli attack on Iran when scores of Indians (originally RAW operatives) were caught working for Mossad too.
Regardless if the original plan was already devised (and waiting for opportune time for launching) or it was devised post Hamas-Israel war, the goal was to subdue all Muslim countries from Africa to Myanmar to bring them all under the effective control of Israel and India (and by extension, their western masters). Once achieved, installing new regimes and drawing new borders were the next goals. For the current rules, the message would have been: Either you prove to be s faithful servant (in order to be allowed in power) or get replaced by some other puppet regime.
I think that's a terrible idea. These treaties have longlasting consequences and must be carefully thoughtout over decades.
