I did Umrah back in February 2025.Clearly you haven’t been to KSA recently or are aware of anything to talk from a position of knowledge.

by gulf i meant a few countries including KSADid I say Gulf? I specifically said Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The vast majority of Pakistanis I encountered on my recent visit to Saudi Arabia were doing low-wage menial jobs. They paid half of their monthly income to their Zimmi and the rest was sent back to Pakistan. Couldn’t own anything in the Kingdom. What kind of jobs ? Now you need training and competence the days of construction labor jobs are few.
yes , i kind of see it as benefit they will send most of their earned money back to Pakistan and come back after retirement .The educated middle class has NO future in the Kingdom because they can’t own anything there. Everything is owned by a Zimmi under their inhumane and unjust Iqama system…

It’s actually much better for Pakistani middle class to move to a western country where they get the same citizenship rights as the rest of their local / native population, unlike our so-called Muslim "brother" countries…The vast majority of Pakistanis I encountered on my recent visit to Saudi Arabia were doing low-wage menial jobs. Do these Pakistanis in top positions get the same citizenship rights as the local Saudis?Saudi Airlines, Flynas, Flyadeal and Riyadh Air have many Pakistanis in top positions, and this is just the airline sector
Do these Pakistanis on top positions get the same citizenship rights as the local Saudis?
So even Pakistanis working on top positions in Saudi Arabia can’t escape their Dhimmi and Iqama system. They also do not get the same citizenship rights as the rest of local Saudis. This is probably "great" for those who just wanna make money only to send it back to Pakistan. For all the rest who actually wanna settle in a place outside of Pakistan and build a better future for their children there, moving to a Western country is their only option.I dont know, most probably not, but that was not the debate.
You have tens of thousands of Pakistanis immigrants in Canada that came from the Persian Gulf countries.Pakistan. For all the rest who wanna settle in a place outside of Pakistan and build a better future for their children there, moving to a Western country is the only option.
I believe I heard from a worker / workers in Makkah / Madinah that they had been hiring more Bangladeshis nowadays as Masjid Al Haram and Masjid Nabawai SAW workers?View attachment 151932
As we discussed before the Gulf countries with Saudi leading will ramp up Pakistani hiring and gradually phase down other labor from select source countries.
Nor does any expat, even Pakistani / White British. They also do not get the same citizenship rights as the rest of local Saudis.
This is not a zero-sum game (do both!) but also mixing your party loyalties and agenda with matters of foreign affairs makes little sense.whats the plan to root out the corruption, mismgmt, and other shit?
Asking for a friend who wants to know.....![]()
Been to Saudi Arabia and got nothing but respect from the Saudis and saw the same with Pakistani labor. If the people living in KSA live like guests and treat the hosts as hosts, the outcome is net positive. Plus, I can guarantee Saudis treat us no worse than how we treat other foreign labor inside Pakistan. Itna khiyal tha "national humiliation" ka tau Imran Khan ne kiyoon nahi kuch kiya apnay tenure me? More tribal nonsense.I have recently visited Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Umrah and saw my with own eyes how bad our Pakistani diaspora is treated there. And we’re rejoicing for "more" of this national humiliation?![]()
Another extreme Bughaz-e-Imrani spotted. PM Imran Khan actually spoke about the plight of Pakistani laborers in Saudi Arabia while the Saudi Crown Prince was on his official visit to Pakistan:Itna khiyal tha "national humiliation" ka tau Imran Khan ne kiyoon nahi kuch kiya apnay tenure me?
On the first day of Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman trip to Pakistan, the country’s Prime Minister Imran Khan asked the kingdom’s leaders to “ease the hardships” of labourers in the country, and to “look upon them as your own people.”
“These are very special people for us. This is something very close to me. And I would request you to do something for them to ease their hardships,” Khan said last night during a dinner reception at the Prime Minister’s house on the occasion of the Crown Prince’s visit to Islamabad.
