President Zardari on 10-day official visit to China

The biggest criminal gangster in Pakistan’s history. Known for running kidnapping and extortion gangs. Pakistan’s biggest city, Karachi, is a hellhole on earth because he owns it like a medieval fiefdom. All criminals give him a cut. His rule is imposed on the city at the point of a gun by the colonial army. Known for kidnapping, extortion, rape, and murder.

The more the Chinese pamper him the more the people of Pakistan will hate the Chinese.
Mercifully, you represent nobody but yourself.

I’m sure there are people who love Zardari. After all, Asim Munir & Company have made him the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Not once but twice. His faggot son is also something big.

You have misunderstood me.

I cannot stand Zardari.

I think your suggestion that Pakistanis will somehow allow our personal opinions of individual Pakistani politicians to influence our relations with China - who are only carrying out normal diplomatic protocol - is wholly unfounded and even foolish.

The Chinese need to understand that there are some politicians in Pakistan who’re universally hated. Zardari is one of them. If they invite him to China and treat him like royalty then they’re inviting the hatred of the millions of Pakistanis who’re victims of this creature.

Then the day may come when these animals are overthrown and brought to justice then the people of Pakistan will remember who supported them.

Yes, I can say that my opinion of the Chinese went down several notches to see them have such little regard for the sentiments of the people of Pakistan.

Cleaning Pakistan's garbage is not China's responsibility, it's ours, we Pakistani's will have to stand up and start cleaning up. While for China to Invite him, what do you want? Stop dealing with the current politicians, and cut relations with Pakistan? China believes in non-intrusive partnership.
All that being said, current environment is different, alliances are being formed in preparation of coming hard times, I don't think that 10% of corruption of a president will even be the least of your worries.

Not even sure you're Pakistani at this point.

The Chinese, or any other nation for that matter, needs to do no such thing.

Your opinion is rapidly becoming irrelevant due to a lack of rationality in your posts.

If you don’t know about Zardari’s criminality over decades then you’re probably one of those Indians sitting in Calcutta pretending to be a Pakistani.

Joined in April 2025 and accusing people of being Indian, eh? I’m going to check your posting history to see where you’re from in reality.

You're a pathetic fellow. You need to study harder.

China invited the president of a friendly country. We invited the position, not the individual. Regardless of who he is, as long as he holds the position and China and Pakistan remain friendly countries, we will invite him.

If the Pakistani people hate him, then why is he the president of Pakistan?
If the Pakistani people hate him, then why don't they overthrow him?

Don't confuse personal matters with national affairs.

MOD EDIT
Don’t you study Pakistani history and politics when you post here? Isn’t it clear that Pakistan is controlled by the military and the people have no say in who runs the country?

Haven’t you read the thousands of posts about a legitimate elected government being overthrown and unelected politicians installed who have criminal histories?

Now I understand why people complain that the PTI government was scrutinizing Chinese contracts. Because all kinds of shady deals were done with criminal types and they needed to be reviewed. Now China is doing the same thing again.

It’s one thing to work with whoever is in power. It’s another to rub it into the faces of the people of Pakistan.

President Asif Ali Zardari will begin a ten-day visit to China on Friday at the invitation of the Chinese government, Radio Pakistan reported on Thursday.

Zardari is scheduled to travel to Chengdu, Shanghai and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, where he will meet provincial leadership.

Talks will cover Pakistan-China bilateral relations, with a focus on economic and trade cooperation, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and future connectivity initiatives. The two sides are also expected to exchange views on collaboration at multilateral fora.

Officials said the visit highlights the tradition of high-level exchanges between the two countries and reflects their commitment to strengthen the “All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership.”

According to the presidency, the trip will reaffirm mutual support on issues of core interest, advance economic and trade cooperation including CPEC, and underscore a joint commitment to regional peace, development and stability.

In August, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited China to attend the SCO Council of Heads of State (CHS) summit, held from August 31 to September 1.

During the visit, Pakistan and China signed multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and joint ventures worth $8.5 billion to deepen business-to-business collaboration in agriculture, industry, health, trade, mining and minerals.

I thought that Chinese had higher IQ than you’re displaying.

For a country like Pakistan, where widespread corruption exists, your logic suggests:

Either China conducts background checks on every Pakistani official.
This would require the Chinese government to send a large number of personnel to Pakistan for in-depth investigations, potentially involving numerous Pakistani state secrets. Only when we are absolutely certain that the official is honest and not accused by any Pakistani citizen can we interact with him.

Or, China and Pakistan must sever diplomatic ties. ------ Every Pakistani official faces public criticism, so we cannot interact with any Pakistani official.

Otherwise, China would be the culprit supporting corrupt Pakistani officials!

Is this what you want?

You are so naive!

He’s heading to China to secure funding for CPEC 2.0 which Shahbaz couldn’t get and will meet business leaders there to assure them about security and better ease of doing business.

I may be naive, but it is China that needs to introduce some morality into its dealings with the world. To say they will do business with whoever is sitting on the throne invites all kinds of criminals to seize power. They know that China will be their buddy.

When you do large business deals then it is a good idea to do a background check on your partners. Zardari happens to have a 50 year history of criminal activity that is available publicly.

Because China ignores the people of Pakistan and chooses to deal with military dictators it encourages them to overthrow legitimate governments. The criminals can always count on Chinese friendship. This policy can backfire in the long run.
