Protesters Regret 'From the River to the Sea' Chant Upon Learning Meaning

The way I see it, there is no way the Jews could and would have lived in Europe after the world war.

A Jewish state had to be given to them for the genocide they suffered.

As reparations by the victors.

And Judaism is the original ancestral faith of the land. There is no way around that fact and the wars that were fought since then over thousands of years.

India has been historically kind to the Palestinian cause. I know a lady who was once married to a Palestinian diplomat posted here.

Cheers, Doc

You are a rational guy. Who made the British god and allow them to decide who gets what in the middle east?
The genocide they suffered was from Europeans and they decide to transport them and plonk them in the middle of the middle east and be surrounded by Muslims> In hindsight was this a beautiful idea?
I have no qualms with a 2 state solution but you dont get it - Zionists dont want and cant accept this hence where we are here today.

The Balfour declaration - instigated and sponsored by Chaim Weissmann and Nahum Sakolow (well known British names......) didnt liason or consult those people of the soil. Dont you think they should have had a say in their land being divided?
Imagine some twits turning up - ethnic cleansing territories - documented rape of civilians and subsequently we are where we are today?

I understand all of that. And you understand that all of us have our own personal historical biases.

The Ashkenazi Jews are foreign to that land. The Palestinians are not.

But the faith of the Palestinians is foreign to that land. The faith of the Ashkenazis is not.

Blood

Faith

Soil

Ancient Abrahamic Hebrew thought borrowed greatly from and was impacted greatly by Aryan Zoroastrian beliefs.

I do not get into these debates coz I know it will go nowhere nice on a board with majority Muslims.

I have also said that the bloodshed needs to stop. It is despicable what was done to civilians on both sides.

Out of respect and love for you I shall make this my last post here. Regardless of whether Persian retorts or not.

Cheers, Doc

Faith is an acquired attribute; if some Eskimo converts to Judaism, it does not give them the right to claim ownership of this land.

If you meant to say Jewish genetic heritage then, for one thing, Egyptian Hebrews invaded Canaan and massacred the Canaanites. DNA studies show that modern Lebanese have the highest percent of Canaanite DNA so, by your logic, Israel should be part of Lebanon.

So, genetically, the region was occupied by Canaanites who were evicted by Hebrews who were evicted by Romans who were evicted by Arabs who have Canaanite DNA so we come full circle.

What gives Jews exclusive rights to the land in this chain of events?

Of course they dont. They must buy property to have right for a property there.

But they can be Israel citizen without having a property.

Concept of a nation is not simply determined by genetic alone. It is multifaceted and involves a combination of factors, including cultural, linguistic, historical, and often, shared experiences. Nations are complex entities that can encompass diverse ethnic, religious, and linguistic groups.

Lebanon is a diverse country with various religious and ethnic communities, including Maronite Christians, Sunni and Shia Muslims, Druze, and others. The historical and cultural complexities in Lebanon have indeed led to a diverse national identity. In other words: Lebanon is not Canaanite.

On the other hand, the concept of Jewish identity is often multifaceted, encompassing both religious and cultural dimensions. Ashkenazi Jews, for example, share a common cultural and religious heritage, even if they may have diverse genetic backgrounds.

Beside that, jews was representing 33% of the population for part of the land in 1947.
The UN charter guarantees the aspiration of people of a stateless territory to establish a nation and state over the territory.

It is peculiar to draw up Nazi atrocities on Jews in the current conflict.

What is the relevance?

Palestinians are not Germans, neither geographically nor ethnically.

It is not Palestinians who are occupying Jewish territory and force evicting jews.
On the contrary.

Anti-semitism and zionism OTOH has remarkable similarities. Bundle up jews under a single banner. Make a plan for Europe to remove jews. desguised under a subtle term «Aliya» which essentially is a coordinated ideology for «repatriation» of European jews to a foreign land.

From the River to the Sea Palestine Will be Free!

Hmm... nope, not regretting it. I will go say it some more just for you at the next protest.

Then you deserve rejection from Israel, because Israel has right to exist and world recognize it. You will loose support from majority of the world when they know your true intention.

I dont care for nor want anything from the terrorist state of Israel.

The majority of the world votes against Israel. This is fact but cry if you want.

My true intention is to stop genocide and let Palestinians be treated equally in their own state or for one state solution that treats everyone equally.

Your propaganda is low tier. But in your defense it isn't possible to make good propaganda when your source material (Israel) is pathetic.

I have no sympathy (zero) for any hypocrites here who cannot articulate basic human sympathy for the people of Gaza but elect to pontificate and spray their verbal manure here.

The whole issue is here legitimacy of the State of Israel in the first place. It was established (by the European colonialists) by force, it has existed by force and it continues to expand by force.

If the Arabs had the money and weapons, they could declare Israel illegal and get the UN to rubber stamp the deed.

The Israeli claim to legitimacy is based on the fact that they are descended from the ancient Hebrews. I showed that the Hebrews were only one of a series of ancient conquerers and, if we use genetics, modern Lebanese have a greater DNA connection to the Canaanites. This demolishes the Jewish claim to exclusivity even if we accept that ancient genetics grants land ownership by default.

Why pick 1947? This is the % of Jews in Palestine according to the Jewish Virtual Library

At the time of the Balfour Declaration, when colonialist Britain unilaterally decided to gift the land to Jews, it was 8%.
