Let's be real, the whole country is suffering Allah's lannat; this country has never tried to change itself, and neither side has any leaders with redeeming qualities.

Your whole government is on a begging tour, which is a far worse rub on the face of every able-bodied Pakistani. So, there is no difference in method; just the optic is different - one isn't so bad, while the other is ridiculed globally.
