He is kidnapped by Pakistan field Marshall Asim Munier. He is Munier’s prisoner. A Colonel always control Imran Khan’s death cell. according to his sisters and son
The definition of being Kidnapped is very different. He is obviously not kidnapped.

He is a political prisoner similar to Nawaz Sharif of 1990s. He will be free if he makes a deal or continue to stay in prison to become Mandela of 2040.

Thanks sir, the definition helps.
Is 26 November 2024 a massacre or killings? Btw will that make any difference?

Definitions are helpful where things are defined. Every day a new constitutional interpretation is derived. Why should we then define anything in the first place?

Anyway, I guess abduction is more appropriate, like any wadeera or decoit or outlaw org abduct someone for ransom/favours.

With this logic, you are saying that Khan used to abduct PML-N and PPP leaders when he was in power and now abducted by others.

Khan is a good man but also a stubborn baby, definitely not a politician and not visionary at all. That is the reason why he is still in prison as despite enjoying public support and being the leader of largest political party in Pakistan, he is in prison for the last 700 days

Correct....He is not a politician, visionary and like other politicians (in Pakistan) ...because he is not corrupt, wont sell his principles , compromise with bastard generals and run away from the country by making a deal.....just to get out of the jail.....

Biggest joke is that he is sentenced in a case where he brought back 1 billion dollars of stolen money to Pakistan and deposited with the Supreme Court...Now that my friend is called a one fucked up country....

Which members of PML/PPM did IK abduct? Majority if not all that were arrested were on charges stemming from investigations and warrants issued NAB/FIA prior to PTI even taking power.

Whilst IK was dragged out of Islamabad HC premises on what SC ruled an illegal arrest and then has been incarcerated on trumped up charges and kept in solitary confinement even denied to pray Eid salat with other prisoners.

So I don't think you can brush this a same as what was done to Nawaz Sharif :)

Per Sheikh Chat GPT:
Prompt: Can you compare Imran Kha's imprisonment with Nawaz Sharif's

Here's a detailed **comparison between Imran Khan's and Nawaz Sharif's imprisonments**, focusing on legal process, political context, charges, and international perception:

---

## ⚖️ Legal Charges

| Feature | **Imran Khan** | **Nawaz Sharif** |
| ------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Main Charges** | - Corruption (Toshakhana case)
- Leaking state secrets (cypher case)
- Illegal marriage (controversial) | - Corruption (Avenfield Apartments, Al-Azizia Steel Mills, Flagship Investments) |
| **Convictions** | Convicted in several cases (2023–2024) | Convicted in multiple NAB cases (2018) |
| **Court Type** | - Special courts
- In-jail proceedings | - Regular anti-corruption courts |
| **Due Process Concerns** | Yes: UN called it *arbitrary detention*, citing lack of due process and political motivation | Yes: Questions raised over military influence in verdicts, but more procedural transparency |

---

## 🏛️ Trial Process

| Feature | **Imran Khan** | **Nawaz Sharif** |
| -------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Trial Conditions** | - Trials held in jail
- Restricted media and legal access
- Multiple back-to-back verdicts | - Public trials
- Defense presented
- Verdicts timed before 2018 elections |
| **Appeals Process** | Ongoing; some sentences suspended, others remain | Convictions initially upheld, later overturned or paused by higher courts |

---

## 🧭 Political Context

| Feature | **Imran Khan** | **Nawaz Sharif** |
| ---------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Position at Time** | Former PM ousted in 2022; leading opposition figure | Sitting PM (disqualified by Supreme Court in 2017, then convicted in 2018) |
| **Military Relations** | Openly hostile to military post-ouster | Fell out with military in late second term |
| **Election Impact** | Prevented from contesting 2024 elections | Removed from 2018 race; daughter Maryam also barred |
| **Party Suppression** | PTI faced large-scale arrests, disqualifications, symbol withdrawal | PML-N leadership disrupted, but party allowed to operate |

---

## 🌍 International Response

| Feature | **Imran Khan** | **Nawaz Sharif** |
| --------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Human Rights Commentary** | UN and global rights groups criticized arbitrary detention and crackdown on PTI | Criticism over judicial overreach, but less explicit condemnation |
| **Perception of Fairness** | Widely seen as politically motivated and legally flawed | Mixed — some see legitimate anti-corruption push, others see military pressure |

---

## 🧩 Outcome

| Feature | **Imran Khan** | **Nawaz Sharif** |
| ------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Current Status (2025)** | Still incarcerated (pending appeals)
Disqualified | Returned to Pakistan; convictions overturned
Allowed to contest elections |
| **Political Legacy** | Remains central opposition figure, seen as victim of establishment | Returned as PM again in 2024; viewed as political survivor |

---

## 🔍 Summary

| Aspect | **Imran Khan** | **Nawaz Sharif** |
| --------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------- |
| **More Due Process?** | ❌ (widely criticized as arbitrary) | ✅ (despite political influence, had court defense) |
| **More Politically Targeted?** | ✅ Yes, especially post-2022 ouster | ✅ Also yes, especially around 2017–18 |
| **More Transparent Trials?** | ❌ Trials held in jail, under wraps | ✅ Public courtroom proceedings |
| **Military Involvement Alleged?** | ✅ Openly hostile; military seen as orchestrating crackdown | ✅ Accused military of engineering disqualification |
| **Current Position?** | In prison, barred from politics | Free, rehabilitated, and in power again |

---

### ✅ Conclusion:

Both imprisonments were legally complex and politically charged, but **Imran Khan’s detention is more widely viewed as lacking due process** and involving more aggressive suppression of his party. Nawaz Sharif's trials had flaws too, but offered more procedural transparency and legal recourse.

He has been kidnapped by Field Marshal Asim Munir and his forces. Remember how he was taken from the court when they broke down the Supreme Court doors. He has not been produced in any court for over 700 days.

He is the former Prime Minister of Pakistan and a global icon who has served this country his entire life. He does not deserve to be treated like this.

And now some people are comparing this to Nawaz Sharif’s imprisonment? Nawaz used to appear in court like he was attending political rallies—surrounded by media and supporters.

In contrast, Imran Khan is being trialed like a terrorist, behind closed doors, inside a prison. He has effectively been kidnapped. This is not justice—this is tyranny.
