The rot in Pakistan is basically because of the Generals, especially Zia ul Haq but also those who have been behind political machinations since Zia's death. But as long as Pakistan doesn't have an alternate strong entity to the military and as long as there is a dire threat from India, I will tolerate the Generals because I consider them the first, only, and the last line of defense for Pakistan.
Going forward, Pakistan needs 15-20 years of stability, focus, peace education, and continuation of policies. And I don't care how that is achieved: Hybrid, Full democracy, or even a naked military regime.

I'm pretty sure if Zia wasn't in charge during the 80s Pakistan would have been far worse off. Because of his persistence we managed to become nuclear.

Only now the Sharifs have started delivering. It took them 30 years of corruption and incompetence to get it right.

Today all PTI are saying it was just establishment/Bajwa since they need Usa support to sort out the establishment.
It wasn’t just establishment/Bajwa. The orders for the removal of Imran Khan and later his non-return came directly from the Washington, London and Brussels. The subsequent coverup of the most rigged elections in Pakistan’s history by the same EU and Commonwealth observers is a direct evidence of this grand collusion. Bughaz-e-Imran is real and has totally exposed local establishment to the international one as butt naked:

It needs a firm guiding hand and consistent policy. Only the fauj can offer this.
This is literally the dumbest take ever! Fauj has NO consistency either. Fauj changes its policy depending on the ruling dictator in chief. From Zia’s Jihadism to Musharraf’s Liberalism to current Muneer’s Fascism, it was all this Fauj had to offer = 🥾 👅

I was a big IK supporter and supporter of PTI, Pakistan needs change and seeing the same old useless faces is frustrating and annoying

So we need change and PTI came, but outside of IK they were all as useless as anyone else

What's worse was the fact that Pakistan is divided amongst these political parties and ultimately

Pakistan is more important then any political party of individual

So when the "overthrow" happened, I was angry and annoyed, because how is Pakistan supposed to change if we never move on?

BUT you realize that this is the way it is in Pakistan
Democracy is not suitable for us because the people don't understand it, don't understand civic responsibility and are easily led and manipulated

So rather then the chaos of democracy we need a unity government made up of everyone so we can put in place plans for the nation and see them through over a 10-20 year period

It would be better if PTI and IK were also part of this unity government

At the moment for stability and for a stable future we can't have chaos democratic or otherwise
We can't have endless fassad
We can't have endless ethnocentric stupidity

Either get with the plan or piss off

Would I prefer a civilized democratic process, sure

But we won't get it, not with our population, so no point creating chaos ever four years with elections

IK and PTI for a while now have be making stupid statements and this endless retarded love for the Afghans is dangerous and infuriating considering the damage the Afghans have done

Pakistan comes above ALL politics and ethnicities and nations living here.

I was the same, I believed Khan could do wonders, he had all the power and people. But at the end, incompetence has no real shelf life. The slap on every Pakistanis face was that tag line "Khan nahi to Pakistan nahi". How dare any political party say that about this God gifted country?

How dare any political party say that about this God gifted country?
How dare Pakistan’s oldest political party (Fauj) be directly responsible for this god gifted country’s split in 1971 and still ruling the rest?

IK is the 1758055477020.png 1758055499723.pngof the taliban and it cost us 70k Pakistani lives.

I will take a military dictator over that any day.

Imran Khan was not responsible for the country’s security apparatus when it joined US war on terror on one phone call from Washington. 🙄

Military dictator Musharraf dragged Pakistan into US war on terror, which resulted in 80,000 dead Pakistanis a decade later.

You don't know the entire story. Nor that's relevant here. Fauj was still an institution then. If you want to discuss this, let's open a thread. I'd love to educate you.

You can't compare a thug and a fraud to an institution. He committed 190 pound fraud and 4 others, now sitting in jail trying to use thug tactics to blackmailing a whole nation. That's how you know who a thug is!

We have over 100,000 dead by now. So you are saying 80K Pakistanis died because of Musharraff and the rest 20K due to IK's loyalty with the anti-Pakistan terrorists? Why is he so anti-Pakistan and supports terrorists?

Pakistan would have lost NWFP and most of KPK had they not joined that war.

Half of the country had already been radicalized by Talibs and AQ and they were in the process of removing pakistaniyat from their psyche under the ruse of religious obedience who we all know was a complete scam because afghandu wanted to conquer Pakistan and have a harem of virgin Pakistani girls as promised by their false prophet OBL.

Pashtunwali cultural barbarism was perfectly acceptable with their false prophet, how convenient.

Then why did Fauj give sanctuary and support to Afghan Taliban and allowed them to take Kabul after the exit of Soviet Union from Afghanistan in the 90s?

What's worst is that US had told us this in the 90's that they had strong intelligence that these terrorists are going to make Pakistan their home. And we played nice with our "Afghani brothers and sisters" who only respond with hate.

Enough Pakistani blood has been dropped on our soil. It's time to kick them out and establish strict rules on security. Both IK and TTP would love to make this country a mountainous region like Afghanistan without progress.

They didn't. The awam did.

Retards up to Peshawar were giving them safe havens.

They kept the border free in good faith because Pakistan is a moronic soft state.

You wanted the fauj to invade Peshawar? Like I said majority of the awam barely knows right from wrong, friend from foe or a user and abuser.

Did all that for the afghandus and Pakthuns are dieing every single day for the last 20 years. Some still haven't learned their lesson.
