That quote is from Che Guevara?

I read a lot about him in Spanish original language, and I've never read it that quote.

And doing a search in Spanish I can't even find Che Guevara citing the original quote about sword and pen.

He was an action man, but he was too always reading and writing, doing ideological propaganda, so I think it's unlikely the quote. And besides, Fidel Castro, was always claiming about "the battle of ideas", that ideas are stronger than weapons.

And I think it was true in the Cuban revolution, they were a tiny group of people in the beginning, they were not successful due to swords, but due to ideas and public support.
