So what I observed is Pakistan didn't want to escalate that conflict because of its poor economic situation, India also didn't want to escalate because it's better economic prospect in future, so question is why did that happen, who got benefit, please shade some light on geopolitical angle for this conflict.

The unfiltered truth which Indians won't like:

Indians created a domestic frankenstein with Hindutva nationalism that has popular support among the populace. This has created a bitter, insecure and extremist population that constantly demands counterproductive things that damage its foreign policy & stability in various areas, based on reactionary sentiment.

At times, even the government is unable to control this sentiment and instead has to cater to it, which is why you see all this signalling that eventually escalated to 2019/2025 military strikes, and the slowly degrading diplomatic ties and international reputation.

It's sort of not that different to Pakistan's own domestic extremism issue where the government sometimes can't control religious extremists, except this time around the Indian state nurtures it while the Pakistani state is trying to control and eliminate it.

So, the question is why did that happen?

Simple answer: your shitheaded Hindutva terrorist Modi.

Of course, Pakistan didn’t want the escalation at all. That was clearly evident from the restraint shown by Pakistan even after Indian aggression on the night of 6/7 May in the wake of serious and grave Indian provocations by Modi government. After getting a bloody face in the air on 7th of May, Indians resorted to sending first drones and then BrahMos missiles (launched from both the air and ground). These naked and consistent aggressions against Pakistan must not have gone unpunished. We all Pakistanis had boiling blood to get Modi’s hot Sindoor running in his veins. Finally Pakistan started responding in a strong way.

Modi was brought to his knees only in a few hours only to start requesting capitals across the world and begging for an immediate ceasefire. One well-placed American defense person having links inside the White House then claimed that Indians were ‘frantically requesting’ for an immediate ceasefire. Pakistan agreed to that on its own terms and conditions.

The way no one in world (except Israel) showed any support to Indian narrative, it is quite evident how Modi has been defeated, disgraced, and humiliated by Pakistan. In fact, most countries snubbed Indian delegations visiting across the world to garner support for India. Even Jaishankar was snubbed by EU officials just yesterday.

I personally was disappointed by Pakistan agreeing to the ceasefire so early. Modi should have paid much more dearly for his aggression and violating Pak sovereignty.

How much of what Air Marshal Saeed Khan has revealed about 7 May about Pakistan's capabilities and preparedness is true or is it a bit exaggerated?

He mentions that Pakistan's Space Command was monitoring Indian fighters via satellites. Does he mean Chinese satellites? And, that Rafails didn't know they were locked on?

Does Pakistan Navy need Type 052D/E. Considering Jinnah, Babur and Tughril Class provides medium range air defenses so now Pakistan Navy should go for Long Range SAMs (052) to protect its naval assets against Brahmos attack. PA and PAF have already got their long range SAMs (HQ9).

Hyper nationalism, extremism will harm any society, Pakistan is prime example of it. Unfortunately we as a nation walking that same path you did in mid 70s, 80s. You reaped, we will reap.

I’d like to hear the Quwa hosts share their objective take on India’s military strengths and weaknesses, especially from the perspective of 'enemy' analysts. Also, how might future weapons acquisitions by both India and Pakistan shift the balance of power in the region? Would that lead to an arms race? Right now, both countries are pretty close in terms of military tech, but with India’s massive resources, how could things play out for India & Pakistan? And what kind of asymmetric moves might Pakistan make to close the gap? Thanks.

Great work. Few things i would like you guys to touch on is Pakistans conventional missile procurement/plans whether we need conventional ballistic missiles, cruise missiles with long ranges both supersonic, subsonic @arslank01
