this thread will get closed down sadly.
Brother,

I am always in favour of promoting Pakistanis wherever possible. I have no problem if @Quwa wants to promote his channel for as long as it doesn’t have a forum on the website.

The only reason previous threads were closed were because Quwa wasn’t moderating himself and fellow moderators thought too much trolling was happening. This is like a personal blog/ podcast of Quwa so I don’t want to spend energy to moderate it myself. Promoting other Pakistani sites is not a problem for as long as it’s done properly (sought permission and no conflict of interest involved).

I actually reopened one of the previous threads about Quwa podcasts after it was closed by a Pakistani moderator so don’t wrongly assume that we will disallow everything that can potentially be a very good Pakistani platform in the future. But it is better to discuss everything in one place rather than having multiple threads about the same topic

Can you guys make an episode dedicated to Pakistan's missile program covering both our strategic delivery missiles as well as conventional ones? Especially in light of the Iran-Israel war, discussing how Pakistani missiles compare in terms of solid rocket motor tech, guidance, re-entry vehicle maturity (MaRV, MIRVs, HGVs, etc) and in reference to India's growing future layered AD. As well as how credible our second strike capability is. @Quwa @arslank01

I think it would be something that interests a lot of members. I'd especially like to hear @JamD 's opinion on this area.

Sarkar maffi witch rakho.

Because this platform has reputable members who are hosting a podcast. I cannot think of another medium as openly accessible for ideas to flow.

That's all it was and is, it wasn't an attempt to do anything that may lead to a clash.

Episode 3 is up. Big focus on the Pakistan Navy, especially its submarine programs -- i.e., SWATS, Next-Gen, and Nuclear.

Just listened to this, lots of interesting ideas. One thing that I think Pakistan could consider is a vessel similar to the recently launched North Korean Chie Hyon destroyer, that thing is just incredible, the displacement of a large frigate/small destroyer, but bristling with sensors and multiple types of SAMs, CMs, and anti ship ballistic missiles. If the North Koreans can do it, I can't see why the Pak navy can't. As you mentioned on the podcast, arguably, developing a naval vessel should be easier in terms of systems integration in theory, and given Pakistan's access to Chinese and Western systems, they could develop a hull that exactly meets their requirements in terms of offensive capability (cruise missiles, ballistic anti ship missiles, etc), along with Chinese/Western sensors and SAMs.

Only the north Koreans can do it.

Saab and General Atomics develop unmanned airborne early warning solution

Saab announces a strategic cooperation with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems relating to the development of an Unmanned Airborne Early Warning (UAEW) solution. The solution will be based on General Atomics Aeronautical Systems’ unmanned aerial system MQ-9B.

The collaboration combines Saab’s renowned expertise in AEW&C systems with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems’ leading unmanned aircraft systems technology. General Atomics Aeronautical Systems will integrate Saab’s AEW sensors with their unmanned MQ-9B-platform. The new capability will deliver persistent surveillance and situational awareness by providing continuous monitoring of designated areas.

"We are bringing our exceptional ability to detect and track challenging objects to customers looking to use MQ-9B to meet their specific needs. This unmanned medium-altitude AEW solution, leveraging core competencies of both companies, has excellent potential to complement our existing AEW&C portfolio and provide customers with yet another cutting-edge capability," says Carl-Johan Bergholm, head of Saab’s business area Surveillance.

This unmanned medium-range AEW solution complements Saab's existing portfolio of manned AEW&C systems including GlobalEye. It will provide customers with a wider range of options, such as AEW capability from naval warships, to meet mission needs. The solution can be used stand-alone or in manned-unmanned teaming, leveraging the strengths of each capability.

Saab brings decades of experience in delivering AEW and AEW&C systems worldwide, including to NATO and trusted international partners.

tbh one thing the podcast has taught me is that South Asians, in general, don't read or actually listen.

In our previous episode, we literally spelled out Pakistan's indigenous nuclear R&D and the key areas our industries took on vs. where they had worked with overseas partners.

Indians be like: "YoU cAn'T mAkE CaR."

Then I had a literal monologue on the need for Pakistan to be confrontational, to be hawkish, to not restrain itself, and a sense of how to do it economically and politically...

Pakistanis be like: "FoReIgN iNteLLiJeNsE."

However, we got DM'ed some really positive and encouraging messages, including from retired AMs, ACs, a Brigadier, a serving MNA, and former advisors.

So, among the people who DO matter, we've got an open ear, and that's all I care about.
