SUV segment accounts for more than 60% of cars purchased by corporate entities

c1419435-670-0.jpg

The structure of purchases of automotive equipment for corporate fleets has changed significantly in recent years. This was reported by Sergey Udalov, Executive Director of AUTOSTAT agency, at the conference "Maintenance of corporate fleets" held within the framework of the MIMS Automobility Moscow exhibition. The expert noted that corporate clients began to buy more SUV segment cars, the share of which in the total volume of purchases at the end of the first half of 2024 amounted to 60.6%.

At the same time, in 2021 this indicator was 45%, and in 2023 it was at its peak - 65%. Of course, this is largely due to Chinese brands, which supply our market mainly crossovers. But the share of B-class cars, on the contrary, began to fall: from 30% in 2021 to 19% in 2024. And this is explained by the departure from the Russian market of such models as Hyundai Solaris, Kia Rio, Volkswagen Polo, Skoda Rapid, Renault Logan. In fact, today there are only LADA Granta and Vesta left.

At the same time, the expert drew attention to the increase in the share of purchases of C-class cars (from 3% to 7.6%) and pickup trucks (from 2% to 5%) by legal entities. The reason for this trend is the appearance of new models from China on the market. At the same time, the share of purchases of D-class cars (from 11% to 5.5%) and MPV/LAV segments, i.e. minivans and station wagons with increased capacity (from 7% to 1.2%) decreased.

86ffac87-670-0.jpg

AVTOVAZ has started production of LADA Vesta family cars in updated configurations. Now they will be equipped with ESC system of domestic production, as well as a number of new options for the brand LADA, reports the official website of the manufacturer. The directional stability system (ESC) was previously available for LADA Vesta.

However, after foreign partners left the market, ESC temporarily stopped being installed on cars. At the same time, domestic manufacturers have started to localize this system. The ESC system includes several functions that increase the safety and comfort of driving. These include anti-skid system, traction control system, hill start assist, anti-lock brakes, as well as the inclusion of emergency signaling in case of emergency braking. At the same time, ESC allows you to disable some of the functions by pressing the appropriate button on the dashboard, but when the car reaches a speed of 57 km/h, they are automatically activated.

In addition, the cars of LADA Vesta family are now again equipped with side airbags, three-stage heated front seats, rearview camera with dynamic lines of the trajectory, power folding mirrors, rain and light sensors, the function of disabling the front passenger airbag, rear armrest, front power windows with Auto mode. Also cars externally now differ two-tone alloy wheels with a diameter of 16 inches of a new design.

Separately, it is worth noting that for the first time in the standard version on LADA cars there are front parking sensors and a system of control of blind spots with indication in the rearview mirrors. In addition, the optics of LADA Vesta was supplemented with LED fog lights with a turn illumination function. And also cars of this family received heated windshield washer nozzles.

222c5880-670-0.jpg

UAZ "Bukhanka" commercial vehicle of SGR family is available again with the engine of the current environmental standard "Euro-5". This was found out by specialists of portal "Price Auto" following the results of the monitoring of the sites of manufacturers officially represented in Russia. Recall that in 2022, due to the breakdown of logistical chains in the supply of components, the enterprises of the domestic automotive industry switched to the production of cars of less stringent environmental standards ("Euro-2" or "Euro-0").

But as alternative suppliers were found, cars with Euro-5 engines began to return to the market. Now it has touched the legendary Bukhanka. If we compare its cost with the "Euro-5" engine, it turns out to be 20 thousand rubles higher than the analogs with "Euro-2". Now the recommended retail prices for Bukhanka with Euro-5 engine are from 1,450,000 to 1,540,000 rubles (including delivery of the car to the dealer center - 50 thousand). This is 1.3 - 1.4% more than for versions with "Euro-2". Despite the differences in environmental standards, the engine power remains the same - 112.2 hp.

There are also differences in the engine indices: ZMZ 409055 - for Euro-5; ZMZ 40911 - for Euro-2. Both engines are paired with a 5-speed manual transmission from the Chinese company BAIC.
