XCITE X-Cross 7 crossover is presented in Russia
"Avtozavod St. Petersburg" has presented the first model of the new car brand XCITE - a mid-size crossover X-Cross 7. To date, the company has produced the first batch of several thousand XCITE cars. The stock is being accumulated to ensure the start of sales in spring 2024. Work on forming the team of the new brand and negotiations with the largest dealer networks in Russia are ongoing, the press service of the automaker reports.
The XCITE X-Cross 7 exterior is characterized by a horizontally closed contour of body glazing. The crossover has received an original grille, narrow LED headlights, a tall body, as well as 18-inch wheels. As for the interior, the front console has a minimalist design with leather inserts and is built around two displays: a 7-inch instrument cluster to display information on speed, fuel and other parameters and a 10.25-inch multimedia screen.
The displays are complemented by a touchpad on the centre tunnel for climate control. Under the bonnet, XCITE X-Cross 7 is powered by a 1.5-litre 147 hp (210 Nm) turbo petrol engine that works in conjunction with a variator. The car has a top speed of 186 km/h and takes 9.8 seconds to accelerate to 100 km/h. In all XCITE X-Cross 7 configurations there is a "winter package" with the maximum number of warm options, namely, electric heating of the first and second row seats, windscreen, steering wheel and exterior mirrors, as well as heated windscreen washer nozzles.
In addition, the base equipment includes such options as electric boot door drive, LED optics in the headlights and taillights, keyless access and remote key start, as well as a multimedia system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
