Well, that;s why I said "If Russia use nuke on Ukraine" then all bets are off.

That plant is closer to Moscow than Kyiv, that mean Ukraine have a nuclear mean to retaliate, and that should have shut up Russia nuclear threat for a while, there are no more Russian "red line" at least as long as Ukraine held Sudzha, and NATO probably already had picked up on that, and probably will increase their aid in the future

One thing Kursk has Donbas don't, a straight shot to Moscow.

The closest distant from Kursk to Moscow is somewhere around 200km away, and you need around half that to drop HIMARS and other ground base MLRS into Moscow, and it's already in Storm Shadow range, which is why the Ukrainian had been repeatedly ask the UK and France to let them use it in Russia, which mean they are going to launch it from Kursk into Moscow......Once that happen, it wouldn't matter how much resource Donbas had, the Russian can't spend it if their capital is under threat.

Not saying Ukraine can go all the way, but some point in near future, Russia would need to deal with Kursk head on

Coal is a thing of the past. Why focusing on coal? Russia has giant reserves of coal. The russians can turn the planet into carbon dioxide cloud with the coals.

The world turns to electric, hydrogen, solar, wind, everything renewable.

What’s Russia endgame?

Ukraine says it will recruit 16y into the army to fight until the bitter end.

Yes, in the donbass but a little to the west of Donbass also

Multiple known reserves exist in the area with little evidence of any further west, so if nothing else Russia needs to secure those areas, cut off Ukraine and the west from the mineral wealth

Don't you get it, Ukraine is dead, once they kill off the 16 year old Ukrainians, then what?
