It is always a sad news to see an aircraft being lost no matter which side it is from. I just love the marvel of jets humans created.

Abdul bhaijaan has Russia not lost jets too?

Russia has Lost in excess of 150 jets and several 100 helicopter in the Ukraine war

They have lost Su35 and Su34s which were inducted after 2010

The difference is that Russia is able to manufacture the aircrafts to replace those which it losses in combat, while Ukraine is dependent on Donations from allied forces

Also the French have flown the bulk of their Mirage 2000 in excess of 8000 flight hours, and the ones Ukraine received would likely be closer to 10000 hrs .

Another issue with Mirage 2000 is in BVR combat.
Mirage 2000 is not compatible with Meteor, due to its older Pulse Dopler Radar and the MICA missiles have a range of 80km, which is not suitable in modern day combat.
The updated MICA ER with 130km range , which the Mirage 2000 will be able to carry , is still some way off

My personal entertainment guess:

Russian President Putin has confirmed that he will attend China's "9.3 Military Parade".

US President Trump is not sure whether to visit China. But according to the analysis of official statements, China and the United States should be in the consultation stage. From July 27 to 30, China and the United States will hold economic and trade talks in Sweden. If the results of the talks between the two sides are good, then Trump will most likely attend China's "9.3 Military Parade".

At the moment when the leaders of China, the United States and Russia meet. If Ukrainian President Zelensky also comes to attend China's "9.3 Military Parade"...
What will happen in this world?

The first use of the Russian kamikaze drone "Italmas" in Ukraine has been recorded. A resident of the city of Sumy in northern Ukraine managed to film the drone "Italmas". That day, the city of Sumy was also attacked by drones "Geran". There was no information about the drones "Italmas" for two years

This verbal agreement is also binding, even if it is not confirmed by signatures.
It is not binding. To be legally binding, it must be signed by the president or secretary of state, and to be even more binding, it must require the country's highest national legislature to approve the signed agreement in a legislative session.

None of this was done. In fact, they held meetings that addressed this issue regarding the scope of German reunification.

This is what Putin described as non-binding guarantees. Furthermore, all these promises were made during the negotiations, in a context in which the USSR and the Warsaw Pact still existed, which ceased to exist in 1991. This dissolution completely changed the territorial and geopolitical landscape of the region.

Non-binding guarantees, like the Budapest Memorandum itself, are just a piece of paper that can be easily torn up.

Furthermore, these conversations were in the context of a possible future German reunification. In this context, "the east" clearly refers to the territory of East Germany, which was even confirmed by Gorbachev years later.

It wasn't a legally binding agreement. What could be seen as violated was NATO's eastward expansion, which violated OSCE determinations and other European security instruments, such as the Charter for European Security signed at the OSCE Summit in Istanbul in November 1999, which stipulates that no state may strengthen its security at the expense of another state—what the Russians call the "indivisibility of security." A text from Lavrov talking about this in February 2022 before the invasion:

Here is the 1999 OSCE Charter, page 10:

statements by US Secretary of State John Kerry, who acknowledged that even ‘legally non-binding’ agreements are a necessary tool of international politics[72] and the practice of the Cold War, when informal agreements between the USSR and the US defined the contours of the European security system (1950s and 1960s), and during the Caribbean crisis of 1962, played a significant role in preventing nuclear war between the USSR and the US[73].
If you are interested, I can translate it.

Putin's arguments that I've heard in speeches are: Ukraine was going NATO. That will literally bring NATO to Russia's doors. So close that Moscow can be reached through air within 2-3 minutes via supersonic jets and missiles from many places in Ukraine. So he wants depth for Russia's protection.

Apparently, there was an agreement by NATO that they will not expand eastwards beyond countries X,Y. But they did. So Russia needs a buffer zone between itself and NATO. So per Putin, this is between Russia trying to defend itself from future NATO attacks. Ukraine just really happens to be a country next door.

He says he will do ceasefire if Ukraine agrees to a buffer zone and assurity of not joining NATO.

This is in NO means a justification or even a valid argument to attack a sovereign nation. Just thought I'd share what I've learned from Putin's speech to media many times.
yes that is the propaganda Mr Putin engages in to explain his attack on Ukraine. I think the real reason is Putin got away with stealing Crimea in 2014, bloodlessly and like any other thug, thought he could grab the Donbas region of Ukraine without much effort. Now he is stuck in the mud in Ukraine and cannot backoff because he is a strongman, and strongmen can never look weak or stupid.

That's what we don't understand about Putin. Putin is now wearing the Wet thin. He's put in so much money to replace all war time destroyed old equipment with new one's.

They took Iran's Shaheed drone and are manufacturing 100 drones per day now. That's 3000 drones per month. Who in the world produces 3000 air defense interceptors? No one! And they want to increase this capacity to 15,000 drones per month, that's 500 per day. That's just one system.

Next, Iskander missiles are being produced at 3 times the capacity. Same with SU-34 that's their assault aircraft and TU-90 tanks, which are the latest. So Russia has used the war time funding into recreating a new military with new equipment.

At this time, there is Israel, Pakistan, Russia, India, Iran, the 5 main forces that now have gained valuable experience in 2025's warfare standards. Russia is adapting and building it's military per 2025 war standards.

Ukraine isn't getting stuff for free from America. EU is now paying for equipment. But how much?

Servicemen of the Russian special forces unit "Vega", the 24th separate special forces brigade, showed a captured Ukrainian armored vehicle BMC Kirpi. BMC Kirpi armored vehicles are manufactured in Turkey. The Kirpi armored vehicle was attacked by a Russian drone, deep in the Ukrainian rear. The driver turned the steering wheel sharply and the armored vehicle flipped over, after which it was abandoned. When the front line reached this place, the car was evacuated by Russian units. As it turned out, the BMC Kirpi armored vehicle was in good working order. The video was filmed in the Pokrovsk direction. Despite the good reviews of the BMC Kirpi, servicemen rated the American armored personnel carrier International MaxxPro and the Ukrainian "Kozak" higher.
