The Russians are impaling themselves on their own sword, because their dictator can’t accept the fact he has failed and has little to show for his failed adventure. Classic sunk cost fallacy, and it’s why we’re about to enter Year 5 of the war with the Russians still stuck in Eastern Ukraine.

The only question that matters is has this war improved Russia’s strategic position in global geopolitics? The resounding answer is NO.

Strange. They quickly agreed on terms with Hussein and Gaddafi. They didn't even have time to squeak.
