You're kidding, right?And how many are in service today? And kilo is nothing but border petrol vessel not a blue water sub
Do you consider the 3,950-ton full-load Kilo 3 class a coastal submarine?
If you look at the displacement of most conventional submarines, will they all be coastal, including the Japanese ones?
Instead of what you think, the Kilo class proves every day that they are truly blue-water submarines.
