They got none. All that privilege is in the minds of those who think they would be better off with a legal right to four wives. Totally ignoring the improvement in the condition of women that was partly effected by this and other progressive legislation.
You missed a very important fact. That Muslims created Pakistan for themselves. If they wanted Sharia based personal laws they should have migrated to Pakistan. No one stopped them.

Let me repeat the circumstances - once and only once, because this has been one of the most closely explained facts ever.
The Muslim League demanded, and got Pakistan for themselves. They did not convince the vast majority of Muslims, even those who had voted for the League during elections, to shift to the new country. The bulk of those who shifted were from the Punjab, and a significant number from Bihar (into East Pakistan, that being closer).
The Indian National Congress, that represented, as shown in electoral results and in participation in INC-promoted movements, was for a nation that would be indifferent to matters of religion in the public sphere, but would leave people alone to lead their parochial lives in the personal area. That is what was created meeting the wishes of the bulk of the Indian people, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Christian, Buddhist and Jain, and animists as well.

What should he have done? Spurned the massive majority in Parliament, the support of the parliamentary party and the support of every progressive element in the country? Should there have been a referendum, because he should have guessed that a peevish, ill-informed eccentric sixty years later thought that there should have been a consensus.
