Muslim World ? That's dying to give nobel peace prize to Trump. From FM to Erdogan and everyone in the region stand in line and heap praises for Trump and you think they can do a thing or two against US if it ever wanted to make bases lol.

I absolutely loved and appreciated Makkah defence alliance, but I am practical enough and know that it cannot deter US. Maybe it can deter any solo Israeli adventure but not if something is joint US-Israeli.

Exactly this, PAF use JF-17 as part of an ecosystem designed to fight a peer. I imagine Somalis want something capable to keep small neighbours or rebel groups in line and maybe air policing. Beauty of JF-17 is it can do both. In fact it may not be a bad idea to give the somaliis some used JF-17 IIs with the ASELAN targeting pod, LGBs and just WVR missiles, still meets Somali needs but keeps production line free for PAF.

Will Somalis even need the AESA/PL-15 capability?

I agree that block III is kind of an overkill for Somalia. Block IIs could have been more cost effective option to meet their needs. I guess if Somali money would have been in play, this was a certain outcome. But since the money is coming from Saudis, Somalia can purchase Block III.

So what's the harm in placating him to keep American irrationality away from Pakistan


Pakistan has done incredibly well of late dealing with multiple states
