It's probably because you can buy a brand new Tesla Model S for way less than a comparable 2018 Model S. The top of the line Model S was $135,000 in 2018. Now it is only $89,000. A price reduction of $46,000!!! While other car makers raise their prices every year; Tesla tries to lower the price by making their manufacturing more efficient. That's why it is selling more and more cars every year.
