Clearly, you haven't fully grasped my point. You're just venting your prejudice.KAAN's bulkheads are titanium made.
Do you expect prototype assembly to be done through automated serial production line?
If you don't know ins and outs of other country's defense industry, stick to your own. Or read all the stuff they publish, then come back for point to point discussion. Otherwise these vague 'rational analysis' of yours are nothing more than a word salad.
Turkey's KAAN fighter jet is an achievement for Turkey. No one denies that. Very few countries in the world can achieve this level of capability. Turkey has proven its ability.
However, compared to truly top-tier aviation industrial nations, the gap remains enormous. At least, compared to the rhetoric of such fervent nationalists, the distance is vast. That's where the criticism lies.
Modern aviation industry, especially fifth-generation fighter jet industry, is a condensed crystallization of a massive industrial system. Behind every small component of a fighter jet lies a very large and complex industrial chain. If you don't have this complete industrial chain, then any detail will prevent you from properly producing the fighter jet. ------ Of course, if you want to refute me with "we don't have to invent the wheel," you can continue.
Let me give you some examples:
1. GaN AESA. You can look into how Ga is produced and how it becomes a GaN T/R module. If you can't produce Ga, don't talk about completely "independent" manufacturing of GaN AESA.
2. Carbon fiber composites. Modern advanced fighter jets generally use T800-grade carbon fiber, with a minimum requirement of T600-grade, and some countries using T1000+ grade. You can trace the origins of these materials. Manufacturing T800-grade carbon fiber isn't difficult. However, stable, large-scale production is extremely difficult. It requires a very large market to support it.
...Well, I'm too lazy to go into details. You have no interest in these details anyway.
You can look it up: How many Turkish companies are on the Fortune Global 500 list? How many Turkish industrial products are on the global market?...
