Turkey Said to Seek Membership of Saudi-Pakistan Defense Pact

Biggest challenge of this alliance wil be how it will conduct with Iran, they deserve dignified and honest approach towards them even somebody will say they did not deserved it i would disagree with that as they carried on burden of punishment by collective west and jews combined and making mistakes in process is understandable, they should have their own role and economic support even if they are not willing to participate directly due their own and some other objective reasons. This alliance needs calm, stable and friendly affiliated Iran if not for the sake of Iran(cynics would say that) then for the sake of alliance itself. Everyone counts now and matters for future.

what is going on boys. Are Saudis ok with it ? Saudi and Turks dont get along due to Ottomon history and distrust.
Middle East alliances are in a state of flux. With UAE and Israel getting closer, the Saudis and Turkey have put aside their old grievances. Qatar is also getting closer to this axis and even Iran may have no choice but to set aside its distaste for the House of Saud out of sheer necessity.

Not sure if Pakistan is in a position to take a clear stance on this issue because of the repercussions it would have from the UAE and the United States. The Saudis , Qataris and Turkey are also supposedly allies of the US, but Israel is their most special ally in the Middle East.

The world is changing, this is happening

As Europe grows old and both they and the U.S start acting stupid, racist and erratic then the old systems break down

Throwing so much support behind a genocidal Israel was a mistake and it's woken multiple states up

New alliances are emerging and these alliances then can grow into massive military and economic alliances to safeguard our regions and hundreds of millions of people

The wisdom with Pakistan saying its all India specific, including capping the missile ranges is to keep the country off the Israeli/American radar.

Yes but in the same way, IF Israel were to nuke Turkey or Saudi Arabia then they must know that Pakistan was likely to act and that makes the equation very complex for Israel. You just never know what could happen in the Fog of War.
Coming back to this topic: I don't think Pakistan is given enough credit in this equation. Not only a massive 250 million population--Russia had to get soldiers from North Korea against Ukraine!-- but also a military battle hardened against both conventional and non-conventional threats; plus a decent-enough defense industry and an Air Force which punches way above its weight. Pakistan also has good working relationships with all major powers right now: Russia, China and America and very good relationships with Iran, Turkey, Azerbaijan and the GCC rich Arab countries.
I dare say: Pakistan is the linchpin in such equations!

It's Israel and Netanyahu's dreams of a greater Israel. Saudis are finally realising they could lose HALF of Saudi Arabia or more to Israel.
"The pact, originally signed in September 2025, commits members to treat any aggression against one as an attack on all, closely mirroring NATO’s Article 5 collective defense principle."

Pakistan is an economic basket case. It cannot afford to antagonise either the UAE or Saudi Arabia. It is best to look inwards rather than get involved in these foreign entanglements. One of the few things Nawaz Sharif did right was to resist the pressure to get Pakistan directly involved in Yemen, but I doubt his brother has the spine to stand up to the generals, who are the only ones who will benefit from renting out Pakistan's military assets and personnel.

Bro, this is better transformative chance for Pakistan possible, magnitude of this shift will spill of in civilian sphere.

It is probably given where it matters, at the end all resources, knowledge, money or any other material resources are less important then numbers of human resources, problem is and where credit is yet to be earned is polishing and transform that enormous asset from potential into useful physics.

It's simply impossible in today's world to behave like this.

Right now it makes a lot of sense for middle powers that can group together to grouped together because it's the wild wild West.

The Yemen conflict was in another context

Adding Turkey would make it truly transformative, they have a serious military industrial complex, now couple that to Saudi money. And the notion of Pakistan's nuclear umbrella.

It would still be somewhat fragile, so let's see

But which group should Pakistan join ? The Saudi or the Emirati one ? It is not in a position to openly take sides against either.

But how sure are we the yahood are working on an actual Greater Israel project, apart from just taking over Gaza,West Bank and the Golan?

We are sure, because the "Yahood" have said themselves from the roofs. You may not hear it if you were not listening.

I don't see a choice, the emirati one is not open outside of the Abraham accords.

The whole point on UAE remittances is Pakistan economic lazyness, but also remember would the UAE want to lose this leverage over Pakistan?

As things stand, it's more of a Turkish decision if they want to join than Pakistan having a say on the matter. Usually the default answer to any Saudi or Turk question is a resounding Yes.
