Turkey Syria - News & Updates

The regime will never recover from this uprising.

People need to understand that reinforcement sent by the SAA to the front lines usually means nothing but replacement of the losses suffered from attacks by the rebels. This is not a sign of power but weakness.

Most pro-Assad accounts try to sell arriving manpower and equipments as some kind of power accumulation on the defense lines. That is certainly not the case. Additionally, what the rebels destroy on the current battle grounds can't be used later to defend Homs and Damascus.

This is what I meant by replacement not reinforcement.

Rebels focusing on the Southeast countryside of Aleppo/Eastern countryside of Hama. They're advancing fast in the desert. Probably trying to cut off or at least disturb supply lines from Iraq and NE Syria to Western Syria. A smart move.

Rebels are successful in their attempt to encircle the city of Hama.

Assad forces seem to be overwhelmed at this point.

Interesting facts:

42 percent of the 2 million 938 thousand Syrians in Turkey, that is 1 million 247 thousand 432, are from Aleppo, 189 thousand 673 from Idlib, and 107 thousand from Deir ez-Zor.

The Homs-Itriya-Rusafa road was cut by Syrian opposition forces.

Syrian opposition forces captured the town of Sheikh Hadid from the Syrian regime militia.

The Opposition Forces are moving forward incredibly strategic and tactical. They don't waste manpower or equipments. While they overran regime positions in Aleppo, they pretty much chose to not fall into the trap of attrition war in Hama City; something that would have bought time for the regime.

Instead they opted for a much more deliberate approach, applying modern warfare strategies.

This is straight military science.
