Turkey Syria - News & Updates

Russia and Assad bombed Idlib this whole year, the offensive is in response them going to their "final solution" of trying to expel all of Idlib into Turkey. The Rebels launched a counter operation, but they didn't expect it to be this successful as they broke through and gained far more than they expected, as the SAA seems to be retreating.
The SAA looks like a ragtag militia for years now and the Russians half-assed their help to them. Now with their problems in Ukraine it was the best time for the Turkish-backed groups to attack. At least Americans gave their Afghan and Iraqi friends billions worth of good equipment. The Russians though...

"Verily, you shall conquer Constantinople. What a wonderful army will that army be, and what a wonderful commander will that conqueror be."

Turks protected the Islamic world from the Hajjis and Russians for 1000 years. We held the honorable banner of Islam. No one can deny the service of Turks to Islam. Without the Turks, most of the Middle East would be in the hands of Christians today. Allah gave us this honor.

Yes, I agree. I’ve been trying to prove that some of the Hadiths refer to the Mongols who were non-Muslims and they destroyed a large part of the Islamic world.

Lol, they are at the Citadel.

I don't think there is any fighting from the regime. this is a complete route. the Citadel is DEEP in central Aleppo.

I just saw the B roll of the opening and turned that BS off after they showed a Sheep being butchered for a meal, VICE manipulated ordinary shit like to clearly reference/imply some Daesh type shit. So I turned it off.
I despise VICE,but the documentaris with this guy Aris Roussinos were pretty good and he tried to be as objective as he could.

You quoted my post and in that post I mentioned the Bab At-Tabaneh and Jabal Mohsen conflict, the doc is about this conflict. I also have 2 or 3 more documentaries about this conflict from others.

Bab At-Tabaneh and maybe other parts of the city have some of these flags in common view. Screenshot 2024-11-29 at 23-16-34 Warlords of Tripoli (Full Length Documentary) - YouTube.png

Well next time they should not get greedy any try to keep expelling the population of Idlib into Hatay. This offensive was only launched b/c they were setting up a "final solution" of pushing everyone into Turkey from Idlib.

Idk why you seem so excited for the SAA cheering them to do that, the more Assad expel people from Syria not from his demographic, the more will go to Europe, especially on boats to Greece.. lol

Saddam was a Baathist Sunni. The Assads are not, infact they led an internal coup of the Baathist party to take power.

No one willing to die for assad outside of foreign militias and the Alevis. The Druze will switch sides depending on who has the stronger hand and the sunnis who just want the war to stop aren't going die for assad.

Assad does not have a sunni base that is ride or die. Thats what you need to understand, it ranges from Indifference to wanting stability and end to fight, not some sort of diehard commitment to him.
Hafez had the Syrian branch of Baath. Ideologies with Iraq's Baath were slightly different as each country had its own interests and as is often with Arabs, each leader wanted to be the one in charge.

You're very wrong about "no one willing to die for assad". There are people who see that Assad is the guarantee of their way of life and everything they believe in. Even if they don't love Assad, they fight for their government and their country. They want stability.

Christians,Shia,Druze and pro-government Sunnis.

There are sunnis who despise salafism and all those barbarians, while not loving the Persians either. If Assad didn't have a big enough sunni base, the government would have lost the war from the beginning.

No one outside of this own sect and outside militias sent by Iran(from Iraq, Lebanon, Afghanistan, and Pakistan) and Wagner will die for the guy bro.

Not everyone in Idlib is even Salafi. For example, there are quite a few Orthodox Hanafi Maturidis and Shafi Asharis in Idlib. Frankly most of the Sunnis in Syria are not even Salafi. and yet most are not happy with Assad.

This guy Assad brought his own sectarians to fight for him, these guy were literally going around destroying and trampling over the graves of the sahabah in Damascus, but that stuff never gets coverage.

Are you actually showing admiration for an extremist group like these barbarians?

simply irrelevant stuff
If you are still saying HTS is linked to al-Qaeda in the year 2024

*cough* New York Times *cough* do not take what they are saying seriously. HTS disaffiliated itself from AQ in July 2016. Then crushed AQ’s new branch Huras al-Din. They have not been related to AQ for 8.5 years…

Are you willfully ignorant? You do know which groups use those flags.

If this doesn't convince you that they are radicals, then wtf?

Ok you see one isolated thing and then everyone in tripoli is Binladen if they oppose Assad? thats a pretty big leap.
