Turkey Syria - News & Updates

Im telling you bro, the PKK is the real enemy here, thats their proxy snatching up land in deir ez zor. lol

They are trying to cut a deal with PKK Assad marriage and assad dumping Iran.
Bro, how? I just don't see it. Is Assad going to kick out the Russians and hand over Tartus to the Americans?

Still, they are scared to confront the rebels. Pretty sure the PKK leadership is concerned due to a real possibility of getting backstabbed by the US.

Do you expect Kurdish areas to be reclaimed by Syrian rebels to make the country whole? Or do you see a Kurdish country made like Indos?

Russians are leaving Syria, but I don't think the US cares too much about that Naval and Air base all that much, the top priority in Syria is Iran.

There is no other reason for why they would be thinking about taking sanctions off now, when he is losing, unless they think they can get a deal with him.

They want to normalize with Assad and the PKK/SDF becomes the "new" SAA.

They are snatching up territory in the east after the Iranian militia withdrawal and they were bombing the Militia, yet being friendly with the SAA.

Brother, there will be a cold day in hell before we support a PKK state on Turkey's border.
@Indos

He thinks it’s a good thing. I don’t think carving Syria is a good thing. I agree, if they make a state in Syria then how long before they expand to Iraq, Turkey, etc?

Let's have a look at the map. It reveals that nearly all regions south of the Kobani-Qamishli line are predominantly Arab. This raises the question of how a Kurdistan could be established in a territory where Kurds would be a minority.

The areas currently under SDF control have been taken by Arab units within the SDF.

Now, envision a situation where Assad is no longer in power, the rebels are advancing towards Deir ez-Zor, and the Kurds face significant pressure from Turkey to the north.

The result would likely be a substantial collapse, similar to Assad's fate. Even the United States would struggle to intervene effectively. This context explains why the YPG seeks to maintain a positive relationship with HTS.

Dont act based on assumption, they are not stupid. Ya they do expand under current Syria, but soon Syria would be stable inshaAllah. Line will be accepted between power to retain peace.

Indos he is a nice guy, but he isn't too familiar with the intricacies of this conflict. we have been intimately following this conflict for the last 12+ years. No PKK state is acceptable for Turkey on its border.

I don’t think a Kurdish state will make Syria stable. Syria needs to be made whole.
