An Important Analysis
The F-35s to be sold to the Turkish Air Force will never be at the same level as the F-35s in the hands of the USA and Israel.
The US President has already clarified this. He said the same about Saudi F-35s
-- Its RCS will never be as low as that of the USA and Israel
-- Its radar range and power will be downgraded and restricted
-- Its processors won't be as fast as those of the USA and Israel
In a potential Israeli engagement, when both sides are at 50km range, only the Israeli F-35I will lock on radar; Turkish F-35A will lock from 25km.

even if Türkiye rejoins the F-35 program in near future, its Jets will likely lack the sovereign electronic warfare and software modifications exclusive to Israel's F-35 fleet
Türkiye's intended F-35As would have relied on the standard global software package
NO indigenous EW Systems
Türkiye had proactively developed the SOM-J stealth Cruise Missile specifically shaped to fit inside the internal weapons bay of the F-35

on the other hand
The defining aspect of Israel's F-35I is its custom architecture. The US granted Israel a unique privilege to install its own Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) software on top of the Jet's existing systems
Israel’s variants utilize specialized, domestic electronic warfare systems
Israel successfully integrated its SPICE precision guided Bombs and Python-5 air to air Missile

------------------------------------------------------------------------
The absolute cornerstone of Israel's defense strategy is maintaining a Qualitative Military Edge over all Middle East
However, with its advanced defense industry, Turkiye will soon introduce its own platforms and weapons into the game, creating a new power multiplier in the region.

Air Force Fleet Comparison (Projected 2030-2032 period)
| Category | Turkish Air Force (TuRAF) + New Assets | Israeli Air Force (IAF) | Strategic Impact |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5th-Gen Stealth | 40x F-35A ( if it happens ) 40x KAAN (Block 10/20) | 75x F-35I | Parity in Stealth: Türkiye matches Israel's 5th-generation numbers |
| 4.5-Gen Fighters | 40x F-16V 20–32x Eurofighter Typhoon (T4/T3A) 200x F-16 ÖZGÜR-2 | 100+ F-15I/IA 170+ F-16C/I | Türkiye fields a massive AESA-equipped fleet |
| Stealth UCAVs | 100+ KIZILELMA & ANKA-III | NO | Türkiye dominates the volume and doctrine of unmanned stealth strike swarms. |
| BVR Air-to-Air Missiles | METEOR (Ramjet, Eurofighter) GOKBORA and GOKHAN (Indigenous ramjet + AESA seeker) AIM-120C8 AMRAAM | I-Derby ER (Software seeker) Stunner / SkyCeptor (Dual-mode) | Turkish Kinetic Edge: The ramjet-powered Meteor provides the largest "No-Escape Zone" in the world. The domestic ramjet powered GOKBORA and GOKHAN .. Israel’s air-launched Stunner utilizes a dual-mode (radar/infrared) seeker immune to standard radar jamming. |
| AWACS & Battle Management | 4x Boeing E-7T | 2 x Gulfstream G550 (CAEW) | Turkish Tracking Edge: The E-7T's MESA radar can track hundreds of targets up to 450+ km away, allowing Turkish fighters to fire BVR missiles silently by feeding them target coordinates via secure data-links. |
| Stand-Off Jamming (EW) | 4x ASOJ-23A stand off jammer Aircraft | 4 x Gulfstream G550 (SEMA) | Turkish Electronic Edge: Wide-body ASOJ-23A aircraft project powerful directed energy beams across hundreds of kilometers to disrupt radar data-links, blinding enemy ground radars and causing incoming Israeli BVR missiles to lose tracking mid-flight. |
