And if Turks ever need to go the pakistani route of stealing the technology from the west, I'm sure there are Turks working within the industry in the west who could provide should Turkish intelligence come knocking.

This marks a historic shift as a private Turkish firm leads the country’s push into nuclear reactor design, with plans to power the Turkish Navy's future nuclear-powered attack submarine, NUKDEN.

Additionally, Türkiye is securing access to high-grade uranium through partnerships with Kazakhstan and growing ties in Africa, particularly in Niger. Following Niger’s expulsion of France, which had long exploited its uranium, the country's president has reached out to President Erdoğan, seeking direct Turkish investment in its mining sector. Before Erdogan realised he could milk Turkish military developments for his own personal domestic support, Turks have always been exceptionally secretive about their capabilities.

Nuclear weapons is something should Turkiye have them or the means to build them would only ever be revealed in an extreme situation like say should the USA try to attack Turkiye, outside of that would they stay secret.

Unlike the Pakistani situation which fears the hindus of India, Turkiye is not in a situation where she needs to rattle nuclear power as a deterrent yet.
