Türkiye vs Israel - tensions, conflicts and rivalry | Latest News and Updates

Israelis are setting up the stage nicely with Turkey.

They'll compel Turkey to make the first move. They'll then bring out the age-old Victim card and get their little Bitch America to do most of the dirty work.

And incase you're wondering about NATO...guess what? Article 5 (or whatever number it is) doesn't apply if a member state makes the first move. Turkey has to be very careful here and use their cards wisely. Time to engage brain, not emotions.

As a Pakistani, my advice to my country is use this time to prepare, prepare and prepare....and prepare even more. They'll definitely knock our door...just not yet.

From an isreali perspective they need to do something as soon as possible to cripple Turkiye. They cannot allow Turkiye to rebuild syria. That would be a total disaster scenario for their greater isreal agenda.

From a Turkish perspective we need time, at least 5 years ideally 10. Not to just develop our own military hardware, but to develop our relations with all relevant nations. The mecca part is an important element of that.

Isrealis are desperate to create a situation in which they can bring big daddy the USA in to directly target Turkiye like they did with Iran.

So ideally Turkiye doesn't fall into their trap, however if worst comes to worst and Turkiye falls into their trap it will be total war. I don't see the Turks sitting back and lobbing missiles, they will look to march an army via syria. Obviously the americans and europeans will help Isreal, but if its all out war, i don't see Turks at that point caring about the costs.

I disagree on this for the following reasons:

I believe the Israelis would still do something if they perceived Turkey as a threat to their survival(not just interests),even with another government.

Then,it's not about Trump's support. There is a rift in the MAGA and generally the conservative side of USA,as people are fed up with Israel's shenanigans and aggression and most importantly having to be the guy to start wars just to save Israelis.

Desperate to act maybe because Netanyahu wants to keep Israel at war so he can declare emergency powers and postpone the elections.

You have to understand that Egypt is not in Zionist clutches, they're just doing what they think is better for their own survival at this point. And because they have had decades of sour experience having to deal with Palestinian resistance groups' every demand and Hamas' hardcore stubborn ideologies. Not to mention, they've had terr and insurgencies in the Sinai,by groups sympathetic or connected to the Muslim Brothehood. So the Egyptians have their own reasons.

From 2023 to now,Turkey has proven to cower and only talk when it comes to Israel.

It's now plain truth that when Israeli fighters fly close to Turkey inside Syria, the TuAF is absent.

Israel will do something????

Do what???

Iran is far away from Israel, it doesn't have a airforce and it's built its offence around missiles

And even with massive U.S and European support, Israel was hurting

Israels strength if the control of the U.S, something which more and more Americans resent

So sucking the U.S into a war which has destroyed multiple U.S bases, hurt multiple economies including its own, and broken the hold the U.S had over the GCC and Arab states is a MASSIVE own goal

Iran may be hurting but it will recover and plan to harm Israel

Turkey is much much closer
With a large navy and anti ship missiles that could force a siege upon the Israeli state
Turkey may have some disagreements with some Arab states, but they in no way will oppose Turkey
Turkey has the ability to target and seriously hurt Israel and may be actually capable of targeting Israeli airbases without which Israel is dead

Israel only survived against Iran because of the weapons supplies from the U.S and west

Iran couldn't stop those weapons supplies BUT Turkey can,

Without those supplies how long a war do you think Israel can fight?

Turkey just needs to destroy the ports in Tel Aviv and Haifa. That entire country relies on 2 ports to operate, they don't have any land routes or alternatives.

They don't grow their own food, they don't have pipelines and no strategic depth. This state only lives off the patronage of the US and Europe.

Correct, they have just 2 large cities once they are cripple the country will collapse or someone has to come save them, As for their mighty Air force, yes they have some of the most advance fighter jets but it will take one confrontation or air battle to lose all that hype, the day IAF lose 1-2 or few jets in air combat that invincibility myth shattered, and once again it will be pappa America that will come save the day. Take American support (military/economic/diplomatic) away and Israel will crumble even against Iran.

Why Is Netanyahu Going Crazy?

Because the normalization initiatives and the Abraham Accords have evaporated right before his eyes.

He thought that after his phantom war on Iran, he would force everyone to kneel and normalize relations.
He thought the region would bow down under the sword of chaos and fear.

But what happened was exactly the opposite.

Instead of the Abraham Accords expanding…
they shrank.

Instead of normalization being imposed…
the Mecca Agreement emerged.

Instead of Israel becoming the center of the Middle East…

Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan are now shaping the future of the Middle East.

Netanyahu is screaming today not because of the Turkish presence in Syria

but because he realizes that his grand project is dead

Normalization has evaporated.
The illusion has been exposed.
And the madness has begun.

Turkey’s position should be clear. If Israel has assessed that Turkish forces in Syria can be struck without triggering Article 5, Ankara cannot base its deterrence posture on NATO protection alone.

Any deliberate attack on Turkish personnel or assets would be a serious escalation, regardless of the legal interpretation of collective defense, and Türkiye should condemn such strikes while making clear that its forces and interests in Syria are under its own national security umbrella.

This also explains why Syria matters so much to Ankara. Türkiye is gonna need credible independent deterrence around its southern border, including the ability to detect, absorb and respond to attacks without depending on whether an ally interprets Article 5 in its favor.

The objective should be to prevent Israel or any other regional actor from assuming that Turkish deployments in Syria are low-cost targets simply because they fall outside NATO’s automatic defense commitments.

I honestly truly firmly cannot see any scenario under which the USA will attack a fellow NATO country for Israel, no matter how compromised Trump is. The deep state will kick back on that very firmly. Türkiye is too important to the USA geo-strategically.

The issue is not if the USA will intervene, they won't. It is whether Türkiye air force currently can fight the IDF IAF effectively and whether Greece will join Israel in attacking Türkiye if a series of tit-for-tats escalate into something larger.

Türkiye presence in Syria is a weakness for Türkiye in terms of its NATO Article 5 coverage as it presence forces Türkiye to make decisions, that move it away from Article 5 and Türkiye will need to judge its steps carefully next.

NATO is a Western alliance not for Turkey never has been

Real NATO members are Pakistan and Saudi

Turkey got in due to Korean War no one cares

Western nations cerated and support Israel they won't go against Israel

Turkey has Makkah agreement and Pakistan and Saudi are the real NATO members

please Israel do the world a favour and make a move against Turkey

I don't think Pakistan as yet has any "spare" military capacity to use against Israel, given what it needs to maintain against India as a deterrence.

PAF has 1 squadron in Saudi, and I cannot see PAF being able to spare another squadron for Turkiye yet or at all and still be able to defend against the IAF !!!

If the Makkah defense pact is to become serious, then the PAF needs a serious increase in the number of squadrons to create spare capacity of resources for overseas deployments and engagements if required.

The only thing Pakistan brings to the Turkiye-Israel equation is NOT the PAF, the PAF is far too too small for that.. it is a nuclear deterrence against Israel for Turkiye.

Pakistan is running around signing defense pacts for which it actually has no real spare military capacity to fulfill. It is absurd.

PAF maybe needs an extra 3-5 squadrons of jets for Makkah alliance alone for its side of the commitments to be able "surge" to either Türkiye or Saudi Arabia and still not open up a military gap that India can exploit. This is why I find the Makkah pact odd, and strange as the Pakistan Airforce cannot fulfill its commitments. I discount the Army/Navy for the Makkah alliance as they are not really relevant as Saudi/Türkiye can mobilize their population easily if required, it is the Airforce that matters for the alliance(yes - PA peeps will get annoyed at me downplaying the PA as a service for this alliance but that is not relevant, what is relevant is quick surge capacity and only the air force fulfills that).

in a all out war Turkey won't be alone

the Muslims abandoned them once and we see the costs today over 100 years later

the Muslims of the world will not abandoned them a second time

agreed and even 1 Squadron would be too much

thats why I maintain that Pakistan create a Elite Squadron within the PAF

sole mission is to oblige the Makkah agreement protecting Turkey from Israel

PAF needs to find a solution to the IAF F35I

1 Squadron does not really cut it - it needs to be 3-5 once you factor in training, maintenance, crew rotations etc.

Man,I've analyzed this in the past like 3 times...please don't make it do it again.

Just "maybe", and I mean, "maybe" that will be enough cause for Türkiye to cut off the oil pipeline that serves oil to Israel from Azerbaijan ????? "Maybe" - but the pull of money might still be too strong for Türkiye to do that though ;) ...

Best way to defeat israel is to defeat aipac first and target american traitors who spoon feed israel everything. Once israel is separated from a special relationship with america then they are open for target practice.
