Just look at the Iranians on this forum: they have made themselves a global laughingstock.
Despite being weak, they constantly imagine their country to be a great power on par with the United States, Russia, and China.
After the U.S.-Iran war, a ceasefire agreement was finally reached through Pakistan’s mediation. Iran took it as proof that it was a major power. It then seized control of the Strait of Hormuz by force, imposed transit fees, and attacked civilian vessels.
Faced with both economic and military threats from the United States again, they scream “Death to America,” demand that China intervene, and denounce the Gulf states as accomplices, while the rest of the world eats popcorn and watches Iran throw a tantrum on the ground.
