Lived in England all my life, never ever once came across a "sharia patrol". If i had to guess they found a few fruit cakes and paid them some money to put on a "show".

They are not shariah patrols, they are vigilantes against criminals in their areas. They are also trying to stop rampant anti-socail behaviour in their areas. I know because I live in London, uk. Not once did they explicitly say they are "Sharia patrols". That was stated by the reporters. These videoclips are 16 years old too.
