Pakistani corrupt elites may be a problem for sure, but you cannot prosper by banning trade with India. China cannot replace India in that regard as China's economic center is in its coast which is far away from Pakistan. If China could replace India, so many goods from India would not be rerouted via Dubai to Pakistan.

You do not need to think in terms of balancing the trade.. Even between India and China, it is mostly India importing and very less the other way round.. still India does the trade with China because not doing so would mean buying the same stuff at much higher price from somewhere else.

...you are missing the point.. Trade does not mean you necessarily have to export too... even if you just import from India, it will still be beneficial for Pakistan since it would mean not having to do costlier imports from elsewhere or getting the same stuff from India at a higher price via Dubai.
agree! issue is we have law of jungle in Pakistan and our babus to make quick money will allow india to flood the market with indian products and local industries (whatever is left of them) will be destroyed!
