US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

Well Vance looked happy and happy with himself when he arrived. Let's see. At the moment he seems the most reasonable.
His bid for presidency hangs in the balance. He negotiates a peace deal - he's going to have all the reasons to be the next president elect…….. in his head

On the face of it , this whole affair will go down in history at the level of Vienna conference and yalta conference... potentially.

100% he has much to gain. He also stuck his neck out for the resignation of the intelligence chief which angered Trump.
I do think he's reasonable.

You get 7.5 billion dollars of yearly remittances from UAE , do you believe Iran and gas pipeline can accommodate this loss ? ..... Pakistan will go bankrupt in no time if PDF pundits are given control over Pakistan's financial and foreign policies.

Its time Pakistan started not export its best and brightest people to UAE, and instead create opportunities at home for them to help Pakistan grow. UAE's success has been built on expat labour, out of 11million people, there is only 1.5 million "locals".

The people who moved to work in the UAE have had the opportunity to work with other expats, and global organisations to become experienced in their respective fields and now, if UAE wants to force these people back to Pakistan, then that is not bad for Pakistan. They can start to invest their time, in their country and make it better. An exodus from UAE of Pakistani's will help create and speed up a start-up culture in Pakistan of new companies, and organisations that know how to engage with the rest of the world. There can be capital flows as well as people relocate back home, which can help Pakistan too....

UAE's time is coming to an end as a services hub and logistics hub, primarily as Saudi look to take a slice of their financial services pie, and the aurora of stability for UAE as a "safe haven" is also over. Karachi has done well recently as alternative for that part of the world, and it has proven it can provide similar services to UAE to a whole new customer base that never used Karachi before. With UAE being potentially forced behind a "pay-wall" from Iran while UAE builds ports to bypass this paywall fully , there is opportunities for Karachi to grow further and build momentum.

Please try and think beyond the length of your nose, on what is strategically good for Pakistan and see what new opportunities present themselves ...

Good try to think outside the box , unfortunately , you are no Houdini.

If Iran and US do a deal this will be a regional game changer, and for once I can really use that term. It has the potential to transform Pakistan and Irans economy

1) Oil pipeline
2) Use of Gwadar and Karachi ports as land transports for goods direct to Iran, Turkiye and then Europe, without going through Hormuz
3) Iran-Pak free trade deal
4) Development of Pak and Iran beachside resorts

No wonder UAE is fuming......

It will take more than a few months to rearm and your troop levels are far too small for Iran.. Nukes is the only US option now left to win. That would be insane.

The USA has no real issues to re-arm( except for some ships though ) given the logistical advantage that USA has. So, the advantage of the pause to the USA is minor.

Sadly his Achilles heel. Well, she's from the South and not raging Hindutva land so may not be as bad.

They will both forget all of this in order to achieve power, trust me. Also wife may be a liability for MAGA so her role will be massively downplayed, in fact you hardly ever see her....

What do you mean months to rearm? Bush and Boxer groups will be in Centcom in 10 days. The amount of troops are enough for coastline operations and HEU extraction etc.

The US military has decisively defeated the Iranians. 90% of its missile and drone factories are destroyed after 5 weeks of combat. 80% of its nuclear industrial base destroyed. 80% of its air defense systems destroyed. Over 90% of its large vessels destroyed and half of its small attack vessels. 95% of its naval mines destroyed.

The Strait card has already been played. The Strait is closed and almost no ships are passing through. No ships equal no toll income. Brent crude is under $100 a barrel. US oil exports are at record highs. Inflation at an acceptable 3%. Stocks surging back to record highs.

Meanwhile, the Iranian economy is on the verge of collapse.
