US Perspective on the Iran - Israel / US War

This was done ages ago and has nothing to do with the war. KSA remains one of the largest infrastructure hubs in the world and only China has more active giga and mega projects in the world. All economic indicators in KSA have also undergone tremendous positive growth.

Within the past 12 year alone - the tourism sector in KSA went from almost non-existent to the world's 12th largest tourism revenue. That is with 100's of tourism projects yet to be fully constructed, 100's of historical sights renovated and without mentioning Makkah and Madinah (Hajj and Umrah):

And thank God that the Line Project has been scaled down - it was an unrealistic project from the very beginning and impossible to construct with present day technology.

KSA is going to host the FIFA World Cup, EXPO and numerous other global events in the upcoming years and focus should be on that rather than unrealistic projects. KSA also have said on numerous occasions that projects will be halted or stopped if not economically feasible. This is actually clever leadership. Because it would be beyond moronic if the leadership would prefer not to "lose face" and instead engage in unrealistic and costly projects.

Spending a night/day at the resort like that would cost an Arm, leg, kidney and a eye :O

- Regime change was not a primary objective
- 80% of Iranian nuclear industrial base destroyed. HEU extraction will either be completed diplomatically or by force. This a red line for both Trump and Israel
- Regional allies are only growing closer to the US. Huge miscalculation by Iran
- 80% of Iranian missile production facilities destroyed. All Shahed production facilities destroyed.
- The US barely uses the Strait. A toll system is untenable and countries won’t accept it. It won’t be used or alternative routes will be added. The US is a net oil exporter. It simply doesnt affect us much.
- Irans economy is destroyed, with reports stating Iran will contract by over 10% this year. Iran is set back 15-20 years
- The resistance is crushed. Hamas and Hezbollah are cooked with the Houthis nowhere to be found.

$£1 per barrel avg 2,000,000 barrels per tanker so £2,000,000 fee for each tanker and 180 per day average transit the strait . 365 days makes 130 billion 😮 in revenue each year that you just gave Iran that they didn’t have before this war…

Are you calling this a win?

MAGA 🤪

That it not what I wrote. I merely wrote that the idea that everything that the US has done in the region is negative is not correct and that other outside powers have done a lot of harm as well or would do if they could.

All of this all boils down to lack of Arab unity, 20 + Arab nations and 20 + Arab regimes, each with their own agenda and priorities.

When Arabs were ruling empires, caliphates etc. we never had this problem with external world power interfering (they tried but were mostly dealt with) - strong and united in other words - we did not face the current problems.

My views are very clear in this endeavor. No outside entity, US, USSR (proven throughout history when they existed), Iranian regime, Israel or whatever, is going to help solve internal Arab affairs and divisions, problems, and like any regime across the world they will look for their own interests first at the expanse of Arab interests.

Main fault of the downfall of Syria, Yemen, Sudan, Libya, Iraq etc. are internal Arab faults, weak/useless Arab leadership etc., lack of unity etc. All can be traced back to that fundamentally. Of course not all of it but a large part of it. Outsiders only aggravated those events because we allowed them to.

Not that expensive actually.

Similar prize as similar resorts in Maldives and elsewhere - French Polynesia. Right up there as well having visited French Polynesia and Seychelles myself. Visit outside of the season and it would be cheaper. However this particular resort is fully booked until August 2026.

Anyway, KSA is getting more and more expensive for tourism and citizens alike so if you are looking for a cheap holiday - KSA might not be the place. However KSA is one of the few countries of the world where, if you are lucky, you can be invited by locals and stay for free throughout your entire stay - overnight stays, food etc. Even drivers would drive you across KSA for free largely. Many Arab and non-Arab YouTubers have documented this. The hospitality is very unique even for Arab standards - not saying this for the sake of it - it is widely known across the entire Arab world.

Those resorts in Maldives were overpriced as I did some research, I mean they are gorgeous with crystal clear water but heck who wants to pay 1000's of dollars for a night, unless you are super rich.
========================================================

on Topic.
I think meeting with JD and Iranians present it will be best time for the parties to put their points which are acceptable and are non-negotiable, Pakistan can not dictate nor force any party to accept any terms, we are just providing them a place and opportunity to sit down and talk, if it works its awesome if doesn't then they can go back at shooting each other, one way or another this war will conclude as well like Iraq and Afghanistan or some other war.

Yes thats a sensible take. I agree, we absolutely need more unity between us to enhance our collective security. At the end of the day, no one is going to look out for our interests and prioritize it over anything else than our own people, and we certainly need better leaders to help make that happen in the future to deter any outside foreign actors from meddling in our affairs. Inshallah we'll progress towards that in the near future, I'm holding out hope that the security initiative that's recently been discussed between the big ME countries+ Pakistan bears fruit and we can have that as the regions security framework in the future.

I am seriously disappointed by Iranians reaction and senseless bashing of Pakistan who is just working as mediator which could be any other country, while none of them has said a single thing to China which plays a part, Egypt and Turkey, all their racists and outright disgusting remarks are directed towards Pakistan. I think its fair to say that we have shown fair share of restrain and put our PACT with KSA, and relationship with entire GCC on the line because of Iran, if they can't be thankful at least don't be so venomous or hateful towards a messenger.

Why do you want the US to remain in the region? You think their wars and meddling has been good for us all these decades?

Where do I state I want them in the region? Rather, I'm stating that they aren't leaving because of their permanent interests in the region. The American's have no reason to leave.

The Arab regimes themselves, on the other hand, have invited the United States.

Iran is basically stating

That their country was attacked by the scum Zionists and U.S lackeys

Iran will thus now demand a toll on all tankers, to pay for the damage done to Iran

Iran will likely stick to it's guns about this, because SOMEONE has to pay for the damage

It will slightly raise the cost of oil, and the consumer will pay, but Iran will get it's money and it will rebuild

Right here lol:
Oh, no, America isn't going anywhere; they will stay put, Inshallah. Do throw that thought out the window as quickly as you can. Allah is with America, that much I can tell you.
Unless you were being sarcastic, then mb.

Right here lol:

Yes, I do not deny that, but read it in the context of the opinion developing in response to @mythbuster saying the U.S. will leave, or should leave, the region and delegate in its place, Pakistan. Nowhere does it say that I personally want them to stay.

Oh, ok I see what you meant now.

Seeing how busy the other mods and admins have been in this thread, I'd say my time spent at the dentist today was less painful.
Don't sell yourself too short, your trip to Dentist was a achievement in itself. In fact anyone who survive trip to dentist needs to be saluted.

@Fatman17 any reason why my latest reply to @safriz was deleted? Once again censorship despite no forum rules being broken?

Same thing with my previous post and reply to @PakFactor that dealt with US presence in the region and how it came about. Very much on topic as well.

I don't see other similar posts being deleted so one wonders about the selective censorship.

Not sure if this is the point of forums and mutual exchanges. All very much constructive and informative posts as well. Zero trolling too from my side in those 2 posts.

Very strange behavior but I am used to it by now but not any less annoying for that reason.

Are my posts really that dangerous? God forbid that people become wiser or hear another perspective. :ROFLMAO:

I guess we all know by now why PDF has always been unable to attract many active Arab users. @Falcon29 What a shame.
