U.S. forces conducted strikes against two Iranian government vessels on Tuesday under a new "ship-for-ship" policy aimed at deterring attacks on commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

U.S. officials reported that nearly 100 Iranian targets were struck, including air defense systems, missile launchers, radar systems, and drone sites.

Iran retaliated with missile and drone strikes targeting U.S. forces in the region, but officials said most were intercepted and no injuries were reported.

There was a branch of an Egyptian bank in Dubai that transferred over $1.8 billion to the regime. We have used powers under the Patriot Act that we have not used before, and we will close that branch.
