The problem with this is that it won´t really do much damage to pickax Mountain.

Heck even asteroids or comets won´t do much damage.. It will probably kill tho the Jinns who live in the nearby mountains and the wild life in the area but it won´t put a dent on what is underground of Pickax mountain.

Nukes will only cause damage to the flora and fauna and cause a nuclear winter. It could have long term negative effects hence no need to use Nukes.
