The U.S. economy is at serious risk from Trump's proposed economic policies, especially his trade war and mass deportation plans, particularly for individuals who have lived here for many years. These measures will result in slower economic growth and higher inflation, according to economists from organizations like the Peterson Institute, Moody's, and Goldman Sachs. For example, Trump's proposal to impose a 10% uniform tariff on imports may result in higher pricing for consumers and businesses alike and probably a trade war with the entire world. Instead of stimulating economic activity, this protectionist strategy is likely to hinder it.
His proposed mass deportation tactics are expected to cause significant labor shortages across the United States, harming all businesses, particularly small and medium-sized businesses. As a small business owner, I am highly aware of the workforce shortages that already exist in our industry. Furthermore, Trump's hostility to legal immigration exacerbates these issues.
Steve Rattner: Trump’s mass deportation and trade war plans will tank the economy

So why, for the love of God, was Kamala held back from being her own candidate. She should have had a real platform of change. She looks like the establishment candidate. The continue things as they are candidate.
Most democrats and independents whom Biden last go around won, don’t expect much. But come on. We know how bad Trump is, and the party didn’t listen to the simple demands of the independents.
Voters wants FAIRNESS; if We live by the rules we should be better off in 4 years. Granted it’s a tough job, but at least have a realistic plan to move the needle. Biden’s basement strategy won’t work this time around. Last time Trump was dumb on Covid, and take it from those of us on the frontline, we we’re frustrated with how Trump was dealing with the pandemic (Biden went overboard for a while but at least we eased off pandemic policies in some what of a reasonable manner).
Biden should have focused on housing after the 2022 midterms. Something to keep housing costs down. If your letting in more immigrants have plan to get them into housing and work so that cost of living doesn’t spike so much.
And then there is the Genocide. Biden looks like he did basically what Trump would have done but with a velvet glove and happy talk of negotiations that never materialized. Kamala looks set to continue the same.
Also, much of the republican talk of Trump is a shoe in could just be hype like the 2022 talk of a red wave. But Kamala needs to do some real talk to win voters back.
With all due respect, I’m waiting Madam Vice President.
P.s. there are Pakistani Americans voting for Trump specifically because they think he will help get IK out of jail.
Kamala could press the Pakistani government to release IK, and that could sway the tens of thousands of Pakistani voters in the swing states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, North Carolina. Just saying. Those margins maybe key when every vote counts.
