What he is saying is the truth, I have seen establishment touts unironicly say shit like democracy has won in New York while these are the same ones that were justifying election rigging, destroying the Constitution, abducting politicians and threatening judges and making a mockery out of the supreme Court.

To the dopes who think this was some referendum on Trump or that this was some rejection of his policies are not using their brains but emotions like some chic. These were VERY blue states that elected blue candidates.... oh the shock! 🙄

Trump lost NJ by 6 percentage points and Virginia by 5 percent in 2024 prez election that is considered not close. Once again media hyped up this election as some referendum on Trump when it wasn't.

Dem party is still bleeding this was nothing but a distraction from it but in the 2026 midterms the dems are going to have to come back to the real world as they are going to suffer huge losses in the House of Rep since red states are finally doing what dems did for years in their states and that is redistricting. Also SCOTUS is going to rule soon on a case where dems are going to lose over a dozen House seats due to racial redistricting which is illegal... soon. Dems know the future is dark for them so they will fake celebrate these election victories because this is all they have.

Not sure he will eye on next year's NY Governor race, it's too soon for him, Kochul is going to run again, he may influence some decisions and policies of Hochul's race, but he won't be getting in for the seat, probably will be another governor later, sometime mid-2030, maybe he will stand in the NY governor seat.

As I said before with you, he isn't going to make any big changes in NYC; small things here and there do count, but they aren't big enough to notice. But people will get their say on Mandani, as long as the people above him are not too limiting, he probably will lead into his governor's race.

Many people don't understand the term "socialism." People assume "social benefits" as part of "socialism," but it was never the definition of socialism, as in what happened to Vietnam, China, Russia, and so on.

Socialism is a government for collective ownership of public functions and public resources; it nationalizes and centralizes everything in a country via the state-owned enterprise (SOE). There is no civil-public partnership (where most Western "Socialist" workers worked on). And it has nothing to do with national universal healthcare or universal income. China, as an example, didn't have universal healthcare until it picked it up in 2000 and became rich; just because the government owns hospitals is not the same as giving everyone free health care.

If I have to choose, Trump getting 10% of Intel is a more socialist move than the Affordable Care Act. Because Trump is nationalise Intel, making it state-owned, that's the definition of Socialism.

The American progressive and "socialist" agenda is nothing more than the political left agenda, wealth equality, health care, and social care, that's basically money spent on people, socialism is extreme ownership of everything by the government thus having ultimate control of everything, which ironically what Trump was doing (Sliming down the government, thus centralising it and the nationalise of resource) are more socialist than Bernie ever be.

Well, I know that, but he can't do anything in NYC unless NY governor agrees, otherwise it will violate the New York State Constitution. He can run on a platform of converting everyone, but he can't do it unless New York Governor Hochul is also on board and changes the NY constitution

I met the guy at an Imam Bargah. He showed up during one Muharram night for a quick prayer? I got a photo with him, and used that photo to meet "Muslim" Bimbos in love with him. I doubt most Muslims know where this Liberal controlled opposition stands. They just support him because he's a Muslim face - but whose politics are too left for my taste, and he grew up with a silver spoon.
