That was the common conservative talking point, simply because you can't argue the fact he was disarmed before being shot.

Nobody will ask Pretti for his ID and permit before they shot him, and nobody would know Pretti had two magazines before they shot him, which make those "after the fact" and thus irrevelent like When Kyle Rittenhouse was charge with illegal carry (he was 17 at the time in Kenosha) because it's unreasonable Law Enforcement will know those detail at the time of shooting. This is said with a refernce of nothing but to try to justify the result.

Another talking point is that it's Pretti "choice' to be armed and approaching or "interfering" (which did not actually happen) Law Enforcement, the thing is, even if he does, Police can't just shoot you because you made a bad choice, well, unless that bad choice is illegal, even if he is dumb and stupid, doing stupid thing is not illegal, you can't arrest the man, let alone shooting him dead.

The fact to the matter is simple, it didn't matter what happened an hour before that confrontation, it didn't matter 30 minutes before that confrontation, that confrontation alone leads to him being shot, that would be judge in that evidence alone, it doesn't matter if he is burning car or eating a cheeseburger before that encounter, it's what he did in that encounter that counts, and you can call him stupid, or no common sense, but that's not capital offence, as I said with Good's shooting, what CRIME did he committed at that point to lead to guns being use, that's the whole point, anything other than that is just smoke screen.

Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar attacked during town hall meeting​

Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar has been attacked by a man while hosting a town hall meeting in Minneapolis.

Omar was sprayed with an unknown substance by the man before he was tackled to the ground on Tuesday.
The Reuters news agency said that Omar was not injured in the attack, and authorities have not said what substance was sprayed or whether charges have been filed against the assailant.

The audience cheered as the man was pinned down and his arms were tied behind his back. In a video clip of the incident, someone in the crowd can be heard saying, “Oh my god, he sprayed something on her”, the Associated Press news agency reported.

Omar continued the town hall after the man was ushered out of the room.

Just before the attack, she had called for the abolishment of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency and for Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem to resign.

“ICE cannot be reformed,” Omar said.

Minneapolis police did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the incident and whether anyone was arrested.

The White House did not immediately respond to a message from the AP seeking comment.

The amount of rhetoric against her is spewed from power houses it was bound to happen, and its definitely not a good sign, wasn't not long ago there was some US high level govt representative and her husband was murdered in her home? I forgot who it was but saw it in news.
