US Political News and Trump’s China visit

Exactly right, it seems clear that he has no clue what he’s talking about—or perhaps this is just another distraction from his disastrous policies. While I’m not deeply immersed in Canadian politics, I do see parallels between the Canadian Conservatives and the Reaganite brand of the Republican Party, which is now almost extinct. Trump has transformed the GOP into a MAGA-driven entity, a stark departure from Reagan’s policies and ideals.

For fun, let’s imagine Canada becoming the 51st state of the United States. Currently, the 50 states divide up 435 congressional representatives. California, our largest state with over 39 million people, has 52 seats in the House of Representatives. Canada, with a population exceeding 40 million, would likely have more than 52 seats in the House, plus two Senators. Alternatively, if we consider Canada’s 13 provinces individually, the political landscape would become even more chaotic—especially for the Republican Party. Imagine the implications of that. Lol

Trump’s actions have had an unexpected ripple effect on Canadian politics, inadvertently giving the Liberals a much-needed boost. Across democracies, voter frustration often paves the way for opposition parties to seize power, and Canada seemed ready to follow this pattern. For much of last year, the Conservatives enjoyed a commanding 20-point lead in national polls, making their path to forming the next government appear all but certain.

Trump’s threats, tariffs, and his bizarre rhetoric about turning Canada into the 51st state have had unintended consequences. Thanks to his heavy-handed approach, the Liberals have narrowly secured victory in the election. Ironically, the very figure who transformed American conservatism into a MAGA-driven movement has inadvertently bolstered Canadian Liberals, helping them retain power.

Liberals owe a big thanks to Trump’s blabbermouth antics.
Don't get me started on "if Canada breaks into 13 different states" that would be a nightmare to even on how to settle the vote. But anyway, this is not going to happen, so I am not going to say anything else about it.

As for Trump single handedly saving Liberal Worldwide, I can tell you this, Canada Labour party is saved by Trump, because every Canadian hated him, that's because Trump is jerking the Canadian in the world way, the real issue comes this Saturday when Australia (Where I am living ATM) is having a general election, like Canada, it was a done deal for Liberal Coalition (Which ironically is actually the conservative party in Australia) to win this if you ask me before January, now, I am not too sure, Liberal wasn't faring as bad as Canada but the lead (About 6 points ahead) has all but wiped out, but currently it's 39 to 38 favor between Labor and Liberal (So Labor now ahead on +1) by the latest News Corp Poll, and Australia did not have any personal beef with Trump (except for the 10% tariff, which the penguin seems more pissed off than we do". Then f this is the case and Trump handed a "sure win" to Labor party, then you can bet 2026 is basically all but off for GOP, if people outside America hate him that much that EVERYTHING related to him failed, then you can bet your arse that the independent and some traditional republican would turn against him as well.
