Anyone else feel like a segment of the general public is spilling out their misery unto society in the form of political extremism? Like people that call for war and hate. And take things very seriously and appear outraged on a 24/7 basis.

There's nothing to justify that kind of outrage especially as a unaffected and unimportant individual. It appears like these individuals are compensating for low self esteem issues and insecurities and general overall miserable personal life.

Scary thing is they partially dictate the culture, rules and laws in our society(which is already messed up) and can shape it for the future to come.

Where is the anger coming from? Financial debt? Sexual frustration? Hedonism ? High standard-high pressure lifestyle?

A lot of that anger is innate mental health problems. Part of that is also ingrained in their psyche during childhood when they were abused by their stepfathers or seen their mothers abused by their stepfathers. Part of that could also be influenced by violate movies or computer games growing up. Part of that could also be influenced by drugs.
