You don't use Federal power to solve state issues for the State; that's in the Constitution. I don't like a lot of stuff California does, but the thing is, that's their business; the Constitution gives the States sovereign power for a reason, and we have a constitution for a reason.

On the other hand, I will say the same thing here to you as I said to the Chinese member here that talked about the Homeless problem, it's not something you can solve with money. The homeless problem is a socio-economic issue; you can't just pump money into the issue and hope that will solve it. It does not work in Australia and Sweden, both come with huge social benefits that virtually make homelessness impossible, but still the issue persists. You can only help people who want to be helped; you can't force people to get help. That's the issue, not whether or not you had money to try and solve it.

Priorities are Universal Health Care, lower inflation, affordable housing and things like that if you want to deal with the root cause of the homeless problem. That is something Federal Government can do. And people aren't worry about these topic instead worrying how a state using their own tax money the way they wanted.

Stop worrying about Sancutary City in a state you don't live in, and start caring about what your State and Federal government do to your state to alievate the issue.

No need to get touchy with me. Am pointing out a reality you don't see because you don't live here any longer, or so you say. Didn't you say you left 12 or so years ago?

I know people in the LA area who were affected by the fire and can't get any traction on rebuilding yet LA County and the State of California are all too happy to provide assistance to people in the country illegally.

That is a harsh reality you do not understand.

California and LA County are focusing on the wrong priorities.

Period. End of story.

And I know people from Louisana still affected by the damage done by Katrina 20 years ago, what's your point? And you say it like I don't ever go back to the US. I don't live there, that does not mean I am totally out of touch on what happened in America

Again, priority is what a state government think it was important, different state have different issue they need to tackle, again, people need to stop care about stuff that does not happen to you nor concern you, and that's across the entire political spectrum. not just illegal alien, I mean I don't care about whether or not New York or Blue State allow abortion and Red state like Texas and Florida don't, it does not concern me at all, and if my wife or anyone wanted an abortion, they can move to Blue States and have them if they wanted, and if they don't care, then stay, but I won't be parading or protesting on either pro-life or pro-choice here, it's the same thing for treatment to illegal alien, they aren't asking you money to help them, if you have a problem with it, don't go to California or LA, why looking for issue to get pissed off when you can't do anything about it.

Demoncrats don't give any F's anymore they are all in on resisting ICE and Trump by any means. They are going to die on this particular hill of violence.

I said before but I think we're being set up for some event where ICE agents get killed while on duty and the consequences of that will be Insurrection act or worse by Trump and half the country or likely more will applaud this severe crackdown.
