If that. More and more parents are enrolling their kids in private schools because the public schools have gotten so bad. Why?

Democrats talk out of both sides of their mouths. They are fortunate their base has mostly short memories. Many of us do NOT forget.

Seriously, I am at wit's end with how both sides with stand there and pontificate condescendingly to the people and still not resolve a matter such as a balanced budget. I can't even remember the last time the government had a budget. It's been "government by continuing resolution" for so long now, these people don't know any different.

WTF do we not have term limits for the people who ARE the real problem: Congress.

I made mistake of search for term MAGA and ICE and the bots are in full swing the channels are flooded with certain views, on popular social media

High level of tension in social media

Sometimes there are human posters but alot of the posters have generic names just flooding discussions with repeating views

The videos of ICE vs People/Protesters political opponent are quite intense. Quite Aggressive push.

I have seen similar push in Saudi Arabia targeting illegal residents or heard about it , but the intensity captured in US videos on social media is first time I have seen something this aggressive

Often in Saudi Arabia they do a surprise raid on areas known to include illegal migrants , just to seek people who are illegal and are just moved to detention centre and moved to their parent country.

In Saudi Arabia often people visit holy places sacred to Muslims but they routinely overstay their visa and start working small jobs
so They were also dealing with large undocumented population


What happens to Property , or Wealth of these Illegal residents (alleged till confirmed by some one I assume , judge or lawyer)
  • Home?
  • Car?
  • Bank Balance ?
  • Credit Cards?
  • Their known families etc who may be born in USA ?

The story of the PHD , school administrator earning $250,000+ USD salary is quite intriguing, bit shocking

I wonder if they may have upgraded their resident status after remaining in USA for over 5-10 years

It's very difficult to secure a high paying job that high pay , they do alot of background checks during hiring

It is a high quality article , with full references at end , people just don't write like that anymore. It used to be the standard in University/Colleges

Now the 5000 line essay is replaced with Tweet post , with 2-3 line.

Everyone's focus now is to ensure 10,000 tweets are circulated with bots , across social media to distribute a political narrative.

After scrolling 2-3 lines you see same repeated message over and over again. You are totally at mercy of the Algorithm which displays you these tweets or information bits

I think the issue between Left and Right political ideology in USA is centred around the idea , USA is large enough to accommodate lot of people. The other group (right) feels USA can not add lot of people as migrants.

For long periods I thought USA is a land where as you land you attain rights automatically , as it was described in history books how migrants from Europe came to American continent on ships, landed on port , got recognized as residents. If they wanted land they could own land cheap. Of course paying some tribute to government.

At least that is how it was explained in one of Hollywood movies starring Tom Cruise , as Irish immigrant I think , quite unknown movie but still interesting watch, movie name was "Far and Away".

While in movie it is shown the land is free to take but of course does not really talk about the people who were already present in Americas (Native Tribes etc may be it did show it I watched the movie long time ago. Have to watch again). From historical sense it was still interesting to see how the movie portrayed a certain view point, while not really touching the other part.

It seems the automatic rights grant is no longer accepted by at least 50% of society (far right)

Since the other 50% (Democrats have different views)

I will be interesting to see how things unfold in near future

I don't quite understand how can immigration 200-400 years ago was ok, but now they are called illegal?

Note:
My own view is USA is Ridiculously Large chunk of Land 99.9% empty, land as far as eyes can see , uninhabited majority of it

Thankfully, I can still work as a cashier, refuse to sit down on a government check

Last night, an African (didn't ask, my guess West Africa) came in driving a SUV Mercedes. Can tell he was still learning how to fuel up in America.

Took the time to explain to him, green handle is diesel, black handle, gas.

LOL! The pumps went down. Apologies, told the African to please be patient. Got on the phone, called Help Desk, guy on the other line reset pumps, walked back out and pumped the African's gas for him.

Foreigners have patience, I will give them that. If it were an American, I would probably been yelled at and ridiculed before I could fix a minor problem.
