I've not had alligator but I've had rabbit. It does not taste like chicken.

I had alligator meat once in FL--I think it was in Orlando area. Darn meat was too much surrounded by bread to notice any meat in it. Tasted like a rubbery chicken! Haha!

It nearly touched 80 today here. Windows open, fan running, listened to critters last night with the windows open.

While January 2025 was the coldest January in four decades in my region, this time January wasn't as cold, but still very cold, but February, until last few days, was also very cold.We paid the highest power bill ever in our house: $268 covering January 10 through Feb. 10. And it is only a 1300 sq ft house.

No I wasn't lol I saw pics of them falling on the streets, and even some friends recorded in St pete area. Floridians are like Karachiite all year long we wait for winter but we get fed up with it after 1 week and pray for the hot sunny weather lol

I have had many friends who have tasted the gator, its often in the menu if you go to any restaurant specially close to beach, but of course can't it due to Halal/Haram issue but I heard mostly positive reviews about it, but then I don't trust people with their food choices because people are crazy about sushi and its terrible.

I was under the impression @Meengla is originally from Karachi. Sounds likes he's not a fan of Karachi weather period.

Oh hell no! I am also a born and raised Karachiite and there is no way I would have wished for the winter in Karachi to shorten!! You probably need some fat under your skin, bro! Hahaha!

Don't get too confused by the gator meat; it might be, at worst, a 'makrooh' meat like some say shrimps are. I don't think there is anything in the scriptures/religious directive against gator meat.
Try gator: 'Tastes like chicken'!
