It is based on Trump's Monroe Doctrine; that the whole American continent from North to South should be free of any influence from other great powers, and it should be solely belonged to the US.

Trump wants only to focus on the western hemisphere, and leave the eastern hemisphere to China, and the US establishment believes that Trump is too naive as the US needs to control the whole world in order to sustain its hegemony.

Owning the Western hemisphere isn't going to do America much good. Central and Sourth America are inconsequential regions in terms of global geopolitics. Focusing in this region only is to concede the real/old world with the vast majority of population mass and global economic engine resides is akin to admitting defeat.

US wants to establish it's supply chain in the Americas (a tall order in and of itself) but that's not going to solve its problems, so long as the zionist oligarchy is eating it from inside out.
