Didn't Democracy came for Venezuela and took its President away in the middle of night? they want more Democracy and liberty? can they even handle it?

US special forces did that.

Venezuelans have not experienced fair and free elections in decades. There is no democratic structure or framework in place.

It was disastrous economic policies and nationalization of productive assets and resources that screwed Venezuela. It was LACK of proper democratic structure that made the rulers immune to public accountability. The citizens had no recourse to change their disastrous ruling regime through the ballot.

"Fair and square"? Hardly.

Like many other authoritarian leaders, he corrupted all state institutions to be loyal to him, and got rid of all opposition. The bicameral congress was abolished and a national assembly was instituted, stuffed with his cronies. He used state institutions to stifle all dissent.

Many a dictator has held sham elections and won with 110 percent votes.

Venezuelans, like everybody else, have a right to choose their leaders. Whether this is the right time for it or not, I do not know.

How confused these fools must be to one want closer US relations with Venezuela but also sh1tting on the person the US is using as a tool to control a country. Are you kidding? Have you seen pics and videos of those protests? Barely there are few hundreds people.

Only Venezuela elite wants the opposition, and the lapdogs of Venezuela elite (few locals and almost whole butthurt diaspora), who are the useful idiots who are dragged to street to be shoot by Chavists.

Anyway, people thinking in ideology terms wont understand jackshit about USA behavior towards Venezuela, like it's usual.

If you think in material, economic, raw materials and energy terms, you understand USA attitude pretty well.

Chavists keep Venezuela internal consumption under minimum and keep street order, so it's precisely what current USA is seeking everywhere in the world now, when raw materials, peak oil, and energy supply become problems.

USA in the 20th was interested in economic development everywhere, that stopped in 2008.

Now every USA twisted step is toward the path of massive impoverishment of everybody except USA ruling elite.

There is no enough crude oil, raw materials and energy for so much Goyim cattle slaves.

You can get oil controlling supply conquering oil rich countries like last Bush administration did.
