At the very core, what we all didn’t want to believe was that the people of Pakistan are not docile animals. Probably it was a bias due to belonging to this group ourselves.

We always had this unsaid feeling that we are somehow superior in our social sense compared to countries like Egypt.

We were wrong due to our bias, the fact of the matter actually is that most people will crawl on all four if told to and we are probably one of the the most docile and mentally weak people.

Man its not just Pakistan. Our entire darned region is failed in that sense. There is no rule of law in our region. Democracy here is an open shit show of money, power and con-artistry. "Elites" is our weird fascination for colonial era. They are essentially standins for British.
